A Love Letter To You 5 is Trippie Redd’s upcoming fifth mixtape and the fifth installment of the A Love Letter To You series which is dropping August 4th, 2023. This mixtape is the follow up Trippie’s January 2022’s MANSION MUSIK.
During the span of November and December 2021, Trippie posted in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts a variety of snippets meant for this mixtape, including previewing some highly anticipated tracks. In December 2021, Trippie announced in a now-deleted Instagram story that he was working on the mixtape:
"ALLTY5! Let’s talk more love songs or more songs like “Castro?” U know it’s going to be a mix of both styles but like
which style y’all want more"
On August 11, 2022, in an interview with DJ Akademiks, Trippie commented about the mixtape, claiming that it is his best body of work and that it will be the final entry of the series after working on the project for three to four years.
On September 12, 2022, it was rumored from The New York Times that the project would be released later that month, however, the project failed to see an official release.
In December 2022, Trippie announced that he would be releasing two new albums in 2023, with this being the second of the two albums to be released, following the release of the aforementioned, MANSION MUSIK.
Trippie would officially announce the project on July 14, 2023, through Instagram:
"Aug 4th. ALLTY5 comment 5 if you want the track list !"
