“Who Dat Boy” is the first single from Tyler’s Flower Boy album and features close friend and collaborator A$AP Rocky. Their first collaboration was when A$AP Mob featured Tyler on “Telephone Calls.” Rocky was also featured on “WHAT THE FUCK RIGHT NOW,” a remix of Kanye West’s “Freestyle 4” and the last song Tyler released before “Who Dat Boy.” They also went on a tour together in 2015. As said by Tyler at the Agenda Festival, the song was made in as far back as December 2015.
“Who Dat Boy,” debuted at #87 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of July 22nd, 2017. As of May 18th, 2019, it has not achieved a higher ranking on the chart.
“Who Dat Boy” was certified platinum by the RIAA on October 21, 2019.
