Oh shit these guys are close. Nice nasty riffs. Hopefully they got a local show soon.

Impressions after listening to Providence twice: It sounds like the band is taking turns playing riffs from all of their favorite songs in every song. I went out for a walk to listen to it and give it some proper attention, and once I got home I completely forgot about it. Like cfvk stated, some nice riffs but nothing to tie it together rendering it pretty much forgettable.

Providence is amazing. I love how the band incorporates various styles of death and black into a unique sound which constantly makes you wonder what is coming at you next.

Crust parts were the only redeeming moments on demo, and its all gone on LP. The first thing the search for Cosmovore yields is Kristi Carter and her "poetry". "In literature, art, and life, she is deeply invested in depictions and subversions of motherhood (and daughterhood), mother-daughter dynamics and tropes, sexual politics and agencies, LGBTQ experiences, embodiment, memory, heritage, history, music, myth, violence, and trauma." Are two Cosmovores related? Wont be surprised if that's the case, a perfect explanation for blandness of music. CosmoVVore, The Dunwich Whore, W into V, "the reverse Polish way".
