One of the absolute best 70s bands! Haven't really checked past the Byron era yet tho.

their two first albums are magnificent... unhappily after 1983 they are just a generic band!

Chaos & Colour sounds great. I really liked the work of the keybord player. And Mick is on the top.

I'm just glad that there is still a band nowadays that remembers how hard a Hammond organ rocks.

Hard to believe Mick Box is the only one left of the classic line-up! R.I.P. legends!

True, but yeah - difficult to bear! I've been listening to Heep and Hensley for 21 years now. In other words: fifty percent of life yo far.

So sad to hear of the passing of Lee and Ken. Both were so talented and important members of the best years this band had. Cheers to these rock giants!

RIP Lee Kerslake :-( ... He died yesterday from cancer, at age 73... He was on 29 albums of Uriah Heep as drummer/vocalist... We will miss you, Lee!

Albums like Salisbury, The Magician's Birthday and Demons & Wizards are masterpieces, from a band that seems a little bit forgotten when compared to fellow british progressive rock musicians such as Deep Purple and others. Their sound was truly original and they were indeed brillant musicians and song-writers.
