One of the best if not the best concept albums ever made. Not only does Blackie Lawless know his way around a melody, but is a great songwriter.

I wrote this band off as a crappy hair metal band for a long time. Boy was I wrong. This is easily one of the best concept albums ever written. Everything about it is truly fantastic.

Oh. My. Fucking. God. Listened to this the first time in some time, and once again this album shows me it just has something in it there isn't in almost any other album. The feeling and passion here is simply unbelievable. The story is chokingly sad, and the album is a perfect concept album in many ways, musically, thematically and lyrically. The album is repetative in the best possible ways, yet there's still so much going on all the time, and not least emotional-wise. Absolutely no weak tracks and the huge ending The Great Misconceptions of Me pretty much nails it all down at the same time, it easily being one of my very favorite songs ever. By far one of the very best albums I've ever heard and will ever hear. It makes me feel very sad but the musical experience is just something out of this world... The words cannot really describe how good this album is. Blackie is a fucking genius! Also, disagree with drumming. Repetative but cool fills and very hair metalish style & sound. ;)

The Crimson Idol album (Studio Album) is their best album and gets into my top 25 of all time.
