Dawn is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Yebba, released on September 10th, 2021 by RCA Records. It is named after Yebba's late mother, Dawn, who died by suicide two weeks after she performed her first original, "My Mind." The album was produced primarily by Mark Ronson, and recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York.
Dawn was originally scheduled to be release in the summer of 2020, but after Yebba moved back home into the house where her mother passed, her team realized she needed more time to process. She then returned to New York to finish the record, and released the first single "October Sky" on June 11th. Three other singles followed prior to Dawn's release: "Louie Bag (feat. Smino)", "Boomerang", and "All I Ever Wanted."
