Bryan pays homage to author Jack Kerouac, more specifically from a passage written in his novel 'On the Road':

“The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or saw a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars.”

Bryan blends the author's stream-of-consciousness writing style with his own musical composition. He first shared the song on his Instagram with a tribute to Kerouac. The song adopts a seven-chorus structure that proceeds its chorus.
