Elixander is a singer/songwriter who is strongly influenced by the pop/urban/dance-electronica scene. Inspired by his idols like Madonna, David Bowie, and Annie Lennox – Elixander has created a new dance single titled just that, “Dance”. His admiration of the 1980s can be felt in this party themed saturated song that will get you hooked on the music, lyrics, and Elixander’s catchy voice.
Long Bio
When Elixander was a little boy, he used to admire 80s stars like Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Prince, and Michael Jackson. “Seeing Michael Jackson do the moonwalk during his Motown performance of ‘Billie Jean’ made me want to be a singer too,” he said. That fateful night changed Elixander’s outlook on life and he started to pursue his interest in music.
“Every time a music video came on MTV, my sister and I would mimic either Madonna’s opening scene to ‘Borderline’ or the party scene in Cyndi Lauper’s room during ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’. Those were good times,” he continued.
Elixander is an innovative artist in his own right who shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to reinvent himself song by song.
