“SOMEBODY” is the first look into keshi’s debut album, GABRIEL, and second overall release of 2021 following the successful standalone single “beside you.” This is also the first song that abandons the all-lowercase style of song titling. Production was handled by keshi and Baltimore native producer Elie Rizk, who was recruited as executive producer for the album. This is the fifth solo release that features production from another artist. The song’s title was first shared via TikTok on May 18, 2021, then previewed on June 24, 2021.
