"It started out with one line after I called someone and they didn’t pick up, but it was like 3 AM so of course they weren’t gonna pick up. But I remember getting a voicemail and I was thinking like, “Wow, I guess you don’t need me like I need you.” And I was like, “Wait, that’s a really cool thought.” So I thought about that one thing and expanded on the ideas after that."
