“223’s,” formerly dubbed as “Darth Maul,” sees both midwxst and BabyTron rap over a Detroit styled instrumental. wxst takes to the track to rap about shooting the opposition that may fall between his crosshairs, as well as his riches and his musical talent. Tron takes to the track to rap about sipping codeine, beating his opposition in any battles, and his social status.
223’s was first teased on Instagram on July 12, 2022, through a screenshot of a text conversation on his story where wxst confirmed that he received the verse from Michigan rapper BabyTron, also teasing that this would be part of BACK IN ACTION 3.0. Following this up, wxst then posted a twenty-four second snippet to TikTok on August 6, 2022, allowing fans a taste of what the final release should sound like.
The music video for the song was previewed through Instagram on September 6th, 2022 before seeing its eventual release on September 7th along with the song and whole BACK IN ACTION 3.0 EP.
