t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 (Real name Luke Laurila; also known as t e l e p a t h) is a vaporwave / experimental electronic artist that began producing music with ambient, Japanese, and R&B influences in 2013. The music of t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 can be described as its own subgenre of vaporwave called slushwave, heavily based on phasing effects and dreamlike experiences. The themes he deals with stretch from lucid dreaming to exploring the universe and from falling in love to falling apart. t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 represents their view on the music of the future.
Other projects include 仮想夢プラザ (虚拟梦想广场, Virtual Dream Plaza), ２８１４ (collaboration with HKE, formerly known as Hong Kong Express), テレヴァペ (Televape; collaboration with VAPERROR), トリニティー無限大 (Trinity Infinity), 泰合志恒 (Telepath), and 断片化された友人 (Fragmented Friend; vaporwave supergroup project with 猫 シ Corp., Hong Kong Express, General Translator, CVLTVRΣ, Phoenix #2772, and b o d y l i n e).
