“Generation” is the debut single from 24-member Korean girl group tripleS’ first subunit, Acid Angel from Asia, which consists of 4 members. The track was released on October 27, 2022, a day before their mini album ACCESS was released. The song plays on a funky beat with lyrics about Gen Z and the members’ life surrounding social media (with repetitive mentions of TikTok), trends, friend circles, and more. The music video follows the members of the group as they have an enjoyable time together hanging out in the bustling city. The track was written by HYBE in-house producer Jang Yijeong (EL CAPITXN), Nano, Maria Marcus, Louise Frick Sveen, Kim Sung Woo, and the group’s creative director, Jaden Jeong. Singer-songwriter ADORA is also credited for background vocals on the track.
