It's a shame so few telerecordings/tapes exist of those shows. Both the BBC and ITV junked most of the 1960s pop show episodes.

Ok I'll have a look at that. Yeah all of this early tv history is interesting. It's a shame Australia was relatively late to the party. I guess we can at least listen to "yes what" and Dad and Dave" etc.

Late compared to UK/US/Germany, but it could be worse: Australia got TV in 1956, and South Africa didn't get it until 1976! Australia also got radio in 1923, which must count for something. Well, that has been an interesting conversation. Ha ha. First conversation I've had on the internet during 2021. I've been feeling extremely lonely lately and it helped.

Np dude. I know it isn't much consolation but a lot of people have been feeling like that lately unfortunately with how everything has been. I didn't know that about South Africa either considering it was a fairly economically advanced country that's wild.
