@VolcanoColdplay I'm no expert but isn't 8bit a subgenre of chiptune? 16bit is the same technique with other "instruments" and therefore sounds different. Would you call them the same? I guess there will always be those refering to both of them as chiptune and those distinguishing between them because of the other "feeling" to it. I guess both sides are right. It's all chiptune but imagine the classics with 16bit soundtrack. :S
