Pop music shrouded in dark aesthetics. Occasionally used to mark artists featuring either "dark" visual imagery, or "dark", i.e., dramatic, suicidal, decadent or mental lyrics. Thus, "dark" here refers to external features rather than to music or sound.
Tagging correctness can be verified by tracing artist's similarity with acknowledged "dark", i.e. darkwave, gothic or metal artists. E.g.: {Kerli –> Evanescence} or {Porcelaine Black –> Porcelain and The Tramps –> Emilie Autumn, I:Scintilla, The Birthday Massacre} and so on.
