Hello Alexkrut! I saw that you have a pretty good music taste and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmTj6CzmAp4 ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Love, VIDAR

So I totally blanked on telling you about my journey through the Hollies discography. I had started around March and by June I was very familiar with Stay with the Hollies, In The Hollies Style, and The Hollies. Stay is like their Please Please Me, not really any bad tracks, but not really any real CLASSICS either. In The Hollies Style is my favorite out of the three, my 3 favorite songs being Nitty Gritty/Somethings Got A Hold On Me, What Kind Of Boy, and To You My Love. Its my favorite out of these three albums. Finally, The Hollies self titled is very solid, with "Put Yourself In My Place" being my favorite from the first 3 albums. "Very Last Day" is a lost classic. Wow, I have written so much, but they are truly a great band. I decided to take a break in June, and will start from "Would You Believe" not too long from now. I am fully expecting a change in style/sound with that one (maturity).

maybe i'll agree with you after several months :) my favourite album of 'monkeys' is still 'favourite worst nightmare'. there are many legendary songs like Brainstorm, Do me a favour, Old Yellow Bricks and others. and it's my opinion too :))

The Hollies are one band in your top 10 that i need to listen more of. I have heard some stuff, but im starting from the very beginning of their discography and all the way up.

Hey man, thanks for accepting the request! You've got awesome music taste, I was going through Beatle fans when I came across your page and noticed you also like The Kinks and The Who... If you like their music then I think you ought to like mine too, If you could have a listen and let us know what you think I would really appreciate it!? yeah I've heard the acoustic versions of Meeting place and some other songs and they're amazing.. Alex Turner is totally a genius... he reminds me of a current version of one of the Beatles. what an amazing dude! did you get the chance to listen to The Fratellis? they're also pretty good!! I recommend - Look Out Sunshine or Whistle for the Choir.. same kind of good music :).. have a good night!
