Cheers! Very hard to give broad recs, any metal you already like? I'm just gonna randomly suggest you listen to Ulcerate - Shrines of Paralysis, Rhinocervs - RH-12, Cult of Luna - Somewhere Along the Highway and Panopticon - The Rime of Memory

Just wanna say you have good taste dude :) and I like your comments in the WITTR sections. I believe this band is very important to me as well and has changed me in some ways for sure.

Thanks :) A quick look at your charts tells me you also like it quite varied, and I see a lot of great artists! Wittr changed my life, Two Hunters blew me away completely when I first heard it and still sounds out of this world to me.

Yep, brings back memories of countless hours spent in Vvardenfell. Is Celestial Aeon Project connected to Morrowind in some way?

hahaha! I don't own a smart phone either, actually. I explored Norway a few years ago, on my own for three months. It was the most spiritual experience of my life, as well as one of the hardest, because I had very little money and wasn't use to travelling on my own. Canada has tons of wilderness too, that I often take for granted. However, nothing compares to Northern Norway, up past the polar circle. The spikey mountains look like a fairy tale. Are you planning to settle in Sweden? and have you been to Scandinavia before?

Now I have a burning curiosity for the mysterious deleted post. I'm disappointed because I'd love to hear a drunken ramble from you;) On another note, I find slow replying refreshing in modern times. Too many people are hooked on the instant gratification of something like a text message. I prefer a slower response from someone because I end up with something more intimate, lacking superficiality. I can connect this to Wardruna's slower approach to the music making process. Their albums take a long time to be released and they are recorded in natural settings, where the artists have time to reflect, without the distractions of modern life. I'd love to go camping with Kvitrafn in a Norwegian forest for a great length of time.

sorry I forgot to get back to you. I did listen to the lovely new wardruna album. I quite like it, though it took me a few listens before I could really appreciate it. By the way, do you know any bands that have a similar sound to wardruna? I can't seem to find any.

I listened to Nordman growing up as a kid (I'm from Sweden). It basically part of my youth and everyone still knows the lyrics to "Vandraren". yeah man, bm has definitely grown on me through the years. I still enjoy some pop tbh, check out Janelle Monae's Electric Lady for a splendid pop album for one. speaking of bm, have you heard Altar of Plagues' Teethed Glory & Injury? bm AOTY for me.
