Yeah, I thought that upon hearing Eden. I'm not keen at all, but I also don't think Elliot has a voice strong enough to carry through the mix, doesn't have the same presence as Dan or Abi. I don't know, man. I don't think the risk they took bringing him in has paid off at all. Let's get all hipster about it :/

Weeeeell, they're only 'interested in's' at the moment. If I pass this job interview tomorrow I'll have the money for it definitely. Would love to see the Tess lads again, they're spot on live. I do like Textures, but I'm not sure whether I'd go see them as well yet. Will see what the cash situation's like :)

I liked Tool pretty much straight away. Schism didn't click at first but Parabola made me think they were awesome. weird to think i've liked them 10 years now. I'm sick of getting into bands after their release their weakest album too. Never get to hear the songs I want to live haha. Architects now just play the 2/3 singles from their 3rd album, and the rest of the stuff is gonna be from the new one. I'm gonna see them 3 times this summer so hopefully i get more than just that, but i'm not holding my breath.

Ah nah man I haven't seen APC, I saw a band called A Perfect Crime support InMe, haha. I WISH I'd seen APC :( If i'd have gone to Download 06 I coulda seen Tool aswell. Fuck A Level Physics exams man. To be fair, Biffy won't play much of the "super-sexy awesome stuff" But it's worth knowing songs like "57", "Glitter and Trauma" and "There's No Such Thing as a Jaggy Snake". In my honest opinion Only Revolutions is by far and away the worst album of the lot. Nevertheless I suppose it's still pretty fun.

Nah man, they've got a venue sorted- Dev 'accidentally on purpose' told a friend of mine in London it'd be at the Relentless Garage, with the other two shows in-between so all four albums would be played in release order. Whether this is the case remains to be fully proven, though there's a couple of good hostels slap bang in the city center, at walking distance between the two venues. Union Chapel wouldn't have worked for the dirty metal shit anyway. ;)

Aye, probably for the best. I have to aquire another set of tickets for those Dev gigs too, shouldn't be too hard closer to the time. Still no clue as to when the Addicted/Decon tickets will be announced, but they're gonna be in-between the Ki/Ghost gigs. I'll catch you at one of those for sure :)

Performing an experiment, which actually worked. Since my sleep pattern has been destroyed, I fell asleep at 9am this morning and hoped to sleep a LOT better with the drone of The Hummer doing it's thing. Like, I've read on the forums that it dows help due to such low frequency sounds that are used on it. Interestingly weird dreams too, if you've got a pair or shit-hot speakers I recommend trying it if you're having trouble drifting off/staying asleep :)

Me too, it'll be nice to see you again. Ah Bloodstock, another possible sacrifice for the greater good of November. We're still trying to go even if it's just for the day though (Dev's) of course, but that's only a provisional idea at best. Once I've got a job again we'll try and sort it. The Sonisphere line-up is pretty tasty too, though. Argh! :D

Yeah Aaron and I have had our tickets since December, they're rarely over here so it'll be a real treat. From what I know of the venue it's seated on all sides and standing in front of the stage, but it's been a fair while since I was last there so it could all be seated now :/ I say go, you wont regret it. :D

You got that right. The production quality on their self-titled debut was insane. If what you say is true than the twenty-second will be even better now that Born of Osiris and Tesseract will release two stellar albums on the very same day! :D Mate, there is just so much here that I want to listen to that I can't even begin to do it all in one day. I think I could literally spend an entire day on this site and not get bored. My longest stretch is around three-and-a-half hours, and even then it was not enough. I did take your advice, though. I started listening to his radio. I just need to get a copy or two of his solo work.

This year should prove to be very good year for good music. I can't wait to hear more of what John and Neema are up to.

Ah, Armando? I spoke to him at the guitar clinic (uploading a youtube vid of the whole thing now) he let me take a photo of his tour pass. Also chatted to him in his pjamas while he, Beav and Dave enjoyed an apple bong :D Also yes! Make him add Mirko, I have a confession to make...He was rather uh, nice ;) Ah shit, I forgot about James and Gemma. I'll go stalk them now! :)

No worries, glad I could be of service. Notts was far better as Academy 2 comparitively is a shit venue, small stage-space and the crowd was just ridiculous. The setlist was pretty much the same bar one or two changes but DTP were on top form as can be expected. Met the band afterwards too, have a poke around on Aaron's facebook...There's loads of photos: facebook.com/TSDKID <3

Has Monuments released an LP or even an EP yet? I'm curious to hear more of them.

I'll have to do that then, I really haven't heard much of Monuments, but the little that I have heard is very promising. I really haven't heard every song from One, either, but I absolutely love the songs I've heard thus far. It's all good! I really can't wait for the sophomore Periphery album in Spring 2012. I want to hear more of their songs before the end of the world, lol! XD

Yeah! I have begun to search for Monuments elsewhere, though. It's like this: every time I try to use their Monuments radio it often gives me another artist with the same name. Right now I am listening to a lot of Fellsilent and Tesseract. It's all good! :D

Hello there, mate! I love your taste in music. The world would be a better place if people listened to more Porcupine Tree and Radiohead. :D
