I LOVE them! Theyre in my overall top 50, just prefer their 70s stuff mostly. My favorite album is Stained Class

I do as well. Stained Class is just ridiculous how good it is. Have you ever tried listening to Budgie before? They sound a lot like Rocka rolla era Judas Priest and they’re from the same time period. A band I overlooked but just recently decided to go listen to.

For me it flips between Parade and Sign "O" The Times, both are incredible examples of complex yet memorable composing that takes elements of rock, classical, jazz, r&b, and funk in incredible ways that is nothing short of genius. The Revolution is at their peak as well on Parade, while on Sign Prince does basically everything himself and the result is just peak. Id say my personal top 12 are 1. Sign "O" The Times 2. Parade 3. Purple Rain 4. Around the World in a Day 5. The Gold Experience 6. Diamonds and Pearls 7. 1999 8. Controversy 9. Love Symbol 10. Lovesexy 11. Prince 12. Dirty Mind

Love them too! Amazing albums and Neil Peart's drumming is some of my favorite from any band honestly. Fly by Night is my favorite album they did but I also love Hemispheres, A Farewell to kings, 2112, moving pictures, and permanent waves

Hey bro you got good taste, I know your pretty set on classic Rock, but if you ever want to try something different give Is This It by The Strokes a go, plenty of good riffs and I think you'll enjoy it

Forgot to mention, there's a song called New York City Cops, which is on the uk version but not US, if you are in the US you'll have to manually search for it on Spotify, it's one of the last tracks on the uk album, was taken away because of 9/11 due to respect in the US, it has a almost iggy pop sound I think you'll like it aswell.

Yeah I love prog, I'd probably have a lot more scrobbles if I made my fm account earlier, part of me wishes there was a way to get plays from prior to when I made my account lol. Some of my fav prog bands besides Pink Floyd are Rush, Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, Emerson lake & Palmer, and Jethro Tull

Yeah me too, I would have way more scrobbles if I started with last.fm when I was like 15 (Which last.fm was still around in 2005, but I didn't find out about last.fm till 2010, sadly. lol) Yes, those are all great, definitely the most well known ones, I'd also recommend Camel, Gong, Soft Machine, Caravan, Van Der Graaf Generator, Hawkwind, Tangerine Dream, Nektar... or even the newer ones like Marillion, IQ.. but I am more to Prog metal when it comes to the new ''prog'' stuff.

For me its Sabbath Bloody Sabbath all the way, I really dig the lyrics on a lot of the tracks especially Spiral Architect, Fluff is a very overlooked beautiful instrumental and shows that despite being known as a guitar god, Tony Iommi was also extremely skilled at piano! The keyboard work on Sabbra Cadabra is out of this world and every song is just one great one after another. "Killing Yourself To Live" is my favorite Sabbath song. Though overall my top 5 albums would be: 1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 2. Master of Reality 3. Black Sabbath 4. Paranoid 5. Dehumanizer Also awesome profile lol, I love South park and especially the early seasons! Damien was one of the best characters and episodes

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is actually my third favorite Sabbath record second being Master Of Reality and the crown jewel is Headless Cross (note that I really like the Tony Martin era) and thank God another person who recognizes Fluff. It's one of their most underrated songs and yes I like SP, especially Kenny. he cool

Headless Cross is a MASTERPIECE, its sixth for me! I hate Spotify for not having it lmao, also yeah Kenny is adorable I love his Mysterio persona a lot and despite his dialogue hes one of the most wholesome characters alongside Butters and Pip who I also like lol

Only 36 song, 6 sided album that I always fully sit through every time. It's downright hypnotic. It sounds like a compilation of different bands from around the world yet it's all just one brilliant band in their prime. Truly a life changing album that never gets old. People don't listen to it due to its length assuming it'll be a filler fist but it's the complete opposite. The length makes the album because it allows for the intense variety of genres to work.

It's g ot some weak tracks but overall its a 4/5 from me, one of the best albums ever created too! I love the range of genres they mix and go through with it, and the production sounds amazing for something from 1980. Those compositions and unique instruments that hardly get used in rock are just phenomenal and the fact they make it work so well is what makes the album a true gem to me. Joe really hit his peak songwriting-wise too on this album and even getting Topper on lead vocals on one (Ivan Meets G.I Joe) is cool and I wish he did more!
