These Streets Will Never Look the Same,

omfg thank you sm!! i made nocturnal using broken laptop when I used to live in a different city. it was overbearing process, but the creative flow made me do it. and as for my recent release, I was lucky to experience new plugins that I really love. i was kinda inspired w/ the upcoming rave and I remember it was so stuffy then and making it, I felt like I was diving deep in a mysterious world of a sea and had some folklore visions as well, like mermaids and gorgons. so it created more of a dark vibe, yet ethereal. :)

thank you! i think all 3 are great! i've been following and rooting for Rina Sawayama since i heard her RINA EP, so i was pretty excited to hear the album and i wasn't disappointed! // I enjoyed After Hours, but I haven't really listened to it since it dropped, and the same goes for Miss Anthropocene, although i've been returning to Violence and 4ÆM quite a lot. I'm gonna have to listen to them both again soon! What about you, have you enjoyed all three, too?

and my experience is a bit different. i listened to sawayama only once and i still need to discover it, i suppose. i really enjoyed the video for stfu!, i guess it's my favorite song so far. comme des garcons sounds catchy enough. but in general i had a feeling that it didn't resonate w/ me enough, i mean, it sounded more mainstream than i expected. as for after hours and miss anthropocene, i listened to them so many times that i even got a bit bored of both. haha. after hours is surprisingly good. long before album dropped i watched the video for heartless and i felt like new era would suck but when i listened to the whole album i realized it's most likely my favorite album after kiss land. actually, it resembles kiss land a lot, still it's more like new wave and dream pop and pop-oriented in general. miss anthropocene is good, however, i wish it was longer? visions will always remain my fav tho. <3

i'll give more listens to sawayama and will see if it grows on me. or at least i'll realize it's not my cup of tea as the whole album and i only like separate songs. i listen to grimes for 6 or 7 years, i guess. i discovered her when i saw a video for genesis so i decided to listen to the whole album and i couldn't get enough! earlier stuff is very good too. geidi primes is my second favorite and miss anthropocene is third. see no reason why it's better than art angels, objectively, but MA is just connected w/ a certain period of my life, so that's why it's my personal luv. btw, i would love if you recommend me a new artist/album to discover. i love to see MJB in your library. i only listened to four albums by her. stronger with each tear is an absolute winner, makes me wanna reminisce those careless, yet heartbreaking times when i was in high school. <3 thnk u 2! for sharing your time!

Mary J Blige is one of those artists who I have had an immense admiration for, for many years but I have only recently taken the time to start listening to her (this is a recurring theme with me lol) ; I have fallen in love with "My Life" and I'm annoyed at myself for not listening to it sooner - I can't recommend that album enough!! I completely understand why she is called the Queen of Hip Hop Soul. I'm looking forward to listening to more of her work. I'll give "Stronger With Each Tear" soon! You might also enjoy the work of Lone - I'm not sure if you've listened to him before but he's an electronic music producer; you might enjoy his album "Emerald Fantasy Tracks." I'll happily listen to any recommendations you have for me, also :)

be without you is one of my favorite singles of her, but i never listened to this album. i know it charted good and was positively acclaimed, considering it was only her second lp. thank you for the recommendation! i love artists in those genres, so i need to discover. as for latest discoveries i would highly recommend album me by empress of and interiors by glasser. videos are especially good. also my very favorite albums by bat for lashes haunted man and lost girls. <3 btw, where are you from and what's your name? if you don't mind me asking. :)

Hi there! Your library is excellent too! Gonna steal some pieces in the near future. I am totally in love with Charli, been listening to it on repeat for the whole month. It is risky, a bit messy, but that's exactly what I wanted it to be. Lost Girls, hm, that's a bit different there. I like some tracks a lot (Vampires 🖤), the 80's horror movies inspiration is totally cool, but I haven't really immersed into it yet... Next great concept album, for sure, but maybe too safe for me? And what do you think about it?

thank you! oh, totally the same w/ charli. i think she's finally evolved into the artist she was supposed to be. i mean, i ddin't really enjoy sucker at all. considering, she had decided to turn more into pop roots, it wasn't cohessive or like complete for me at all, only separate songs. i enjoy true romance a lot though. charli sounds wonderful and i've been listening on repeat a lot, so that i'm even tired of it now. haha. as for lost girls, i like this new direction natasha has taken, singles are flawless. i love her earlier eras as well. but new album is just different. and what do you think of nfr? arew you polish btw? have noticed that you're interested in charli's live @ Stodoła. i also wanna come so much, totally not sure if i'll make it

I fell in love with Charli after Number 1 Angel. Heard of her before, ofc , but never paid much attention and regarded her as more of a radio, not-really-interesting artist (same mistake I made with Carly Rae Jepsen). Then Pop 2 came (still her best for me) and here I am! Natasha's earlier eras were a huge part of my teenage years, I discovered her music when I was around 13-14 (22 now) and totally sunk in, that might be why I expect so much from her. NFR... One of the best albums of the passing decade for me 🥀 I adore these new profund concepts and lyricism while it's still 100% Lana. Glorious album. Yeah, I'm Polish, you? My name is Filip btw. I'm coming to Charli's live at Stodola, how could I not, can't wait! Come too! 🎉 Now I'm having on loop Caroline Polachek's new album Pang. Have you already heard it? It's brilliant!

I wish we had this witch house/dark atmosphere rave scene here in Brazil, but you can only find it in the biggest cities, specially São Paulo :( good luck getting those tickets!!

ic3peak is a russian witch-house/experimental/alt hip-hop duo. it's basically one of the very few local bands that i fully enjoy. they're also very popular in usa and south america (they even went on tour there). if you decide to give them a listen i would recommend to start w/ the fallal album - that's how i got to know them. they have pretty good visuals too. two last albums are in russian and sound closer to hip-hop. last album reflects the spooky fairy tale of livin in russia. it's quite provocative and a lot of their shows were cancelled, you can read about it. but now they're on tour again and it goes fine, fortunately. yesterday they performed in kiev and my friend went there. basically, it was me who recommended him to listen to them and he loved. :) witch-house is dead in ukraine, when the scene was alive i wasn't really interested then, i only used to go one witch-rave on the 1st of june in lviv and the rest of the raves are house, techno and d&b. thank you! ^.^

I always felt I'd love to get to know all the slavic countries, specially Russia and those close to it, but as a gay latino man I was always afraid I could possibly get 'bullied' even as a traveler. but you make lviv sound so nice and you make me really want to visit there haha. I just searched about how cold it gets in petrozavodks (?) and I got really scared. I can get why people would move from there. Pelotas is one of the coldest cities in Brazil and when it gets to 0°C we feel like we're dying lol. I just realized I replied in the wrong place lol. our conversation is getting out of hand, lastfm can't handle that haha

your prudence is relevant! actually, today my friend from mexico told that mexicans are mad and he wants to visit russia and see ic3peak and blah blahh in a context that russians would be so nice to him. but what a weird guessing.. he loves to wear an avant-garde outwear and doesn't seem to be discriminated as a queer. i told him that he needs to be careful if he decides to go there. amen. hahaha. i know by myself that when i wear smth specific people start staring at me here like i'm a freak. they don't like it when you're different and when you're shining. yes, i have a friend from st. petersburg and he wants to move out bcuz it's a really cold area. here 0 degrees ain't considered too cold. it's almost half of the winter is gone but i still wear a winter jacket. the weather is very unstable and we're lucky when it gets to +10 in the afternoon. in 2018 winter and spring in lviv was so freaking cold and i could hardly handle it. :(
