Hah I actually added one of her tracks to my loved tracks. The one with YM@6 on. It's not to do with the band but I got a question put to Lower Than Atlantis. Safe to say it was a very vital question that had to be answered. Whats the new Algernon Cadwallader record like? Been meaning to check it out for a while as I loved their 1st record.

Yeah I've only listened to it once. Need to do so again as I've forgotten what it was like, though if I'm correct it's pretty standard Mastodon, ie awesome

Yeah man I'll get on lil' b. Gay name like. I'll download some American Tall Ships and tell you my verdict. Been listening to this experimental jazz artist called Matana Roberts. After a few more listens I think this will be on the rise to one of my favorite LP's this year. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-Hpu9Llpw8&feature=related

You need to check out "Love, Ire and Song" by Mr. Turner. The new album is pretty good but not compared to that masterpiece.

I take it you have seen the ra riot tour. Tour of the year so far I'd say. Three of the best current punk bands - I didn't like etid when I saw them with Gallows but New junk aesthetic and the big nasty are very good. You checked out Defeater? "Empty Days..." is phenomenal.

Animal Collective were a load of shite at Primavera. I only saw the end of the set - apparently they played two actual songs and the rest was just awful psychedelic experimental shit. Luckily most of us went to this instead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPNMitWLhxQ. Whats happening with you in summer nigga

I have only heard 'Body Talk' and 'Robyn' and they are both crazy good. The older albums are more conventional pop I'm led to believe as opposed to the new stuff which includes a guest rap from Snoop D O double G. Download 'Body Talk'. I listened to Lykke Like or whatever she's called but need to do so more. She looked fit in her default picture but on further examination she was butt ugly.

Sweet, it's going to be good getting through all that. Well, due to a lack of getting new music its been limited, but Glassjaw, Letlive (favourite album of the year), Minus the Bear, Moving Mountains. Give them all a go tell me what you think. Also Poison the Well who i've got into the last couple of days, check out 'letter thing' i think you'll approve.

Nigger are you gonna get a 2000 trees ticket? Me and Graeme are going but I think they tend to sell out pretty fast, especially with the 2nd announcement coming tomorrow so I'd get one ASAP.http://www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk/ With any luck I'll be able to drive down. I didn't know Maths had a new ep but its not on Spotify - I'll check it out somehow. Also I think you'll dig The Joy Formidable- I've been listening to 'The Big Roar' all weekend and they are like a less subtle more in your face The National, well thats who they sort of reminded me of anyway...
