Picking up on the theme of 10 days ago, I've been listening to a good bit of EST since Svensson died, and I have to say he was on the verge of real greatness. Nobody else around plays like that! So it's really sad. great that we got to that Usher Hall gig.

all i've heard of him is the skintone collection. I need more ambient to listen to. Is there a susumu album you can recommend?

Awards, eh... Best Groomed Irish Male? I would've texted you that pathetic joke, but all my money was drained from roaming call charges in Dublin.

heh, oh no! I was wondering as I might see them for a second time. Their performance the last time I saw them was definitely one of the best live sets i've seen. That is, if you dig the post-rock.

it was good. i didn't really have a chance to listen to the album beforehand, so i was suprised at the arrangements being a lot more upbeat than i had been used to! He had a seven or eight piece band. It was mainly the new material he played. The song used for the encore, 'The Trapeze Swinger' was worth the entry price alone...
