https://dodecad.bandcamp.com/releases We recorded a new EP last weekend. Might be the heaviest thing I've played yet. Also I still listen to Cattle Press all the time.

"So here's my thing with Mogwai. I can listen to them with 100% attention and love the fuck out of it. Or, if I need something in the background while I'm studying or whatever, I can listen to Mogwai and love the fuck out of it. If I need something droning and heavy, I can listen to Mogwai and love the fuck out of it. If I need something pretty and chill, I can listen to Mogwai and love the fuck out of it. In summary Mogwai is rad hail satan." true story

But Ricky Dicky Jimjams is so good. You listened to Ceephax? Squarepusher's little bro doing some good old acid riffs. Picked up a couple of Dave Monolith records too, dude is a hell of a hidden acid gem. Can't go wrong with Luke Vibert either, seeing him next week.

Haha, don't worry. Not weird. I post on a vinyl centric messageboard (vinylcollective.com. Lots of shitty pop punk but occasionally cool stuff like Jack Buck is talked about) and first heard of you guys(?) a few years ago. but my tastes unfortunately weren't in the state to fully appreciate what I was hearing. I saw Jack Buck pop up on there again recently in a thread about good bands on bandcamp and became hooked instantly. Slave Driven is the greatest thing. I was going to inquire about a full length being released but saw the band is over, which is a major bummer.

Sweet, I'll check those out. As for decent acid, Exillon's "It's OK to Dance" is the only consistently good album I have. Beatwife and Ceephax have some really good tracks but their albums are usually kinda inconsistent and have a fair amount of filler. I haven't really looked into the genre any more than that but I really really need some more good stuff.

Damn I'm really liking Make it Pop, completely missed this one during my similar search to scratch the itch that TJL left. Great vox, reminds me a little of Al Johnson from US Maple / Lake of Dracula, both decent noise groups in their own right but going on a tangent here, thanks for the rec.

that was some heavy listening, almost too many good riffs to take in one sitting. if i had to pick a favorite, the outro to "Clutching Revlusion" and "Impervious Weak", really like that they forego guitar solos for a full-on pummeling wall of sound. Usually not a fan of that vox style but they worked well here and seemed even better in contrast to Aaron's singing on the new snares.
