Hello there! Please let me know what do you think about our new single: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0tHrDK-wd0 We are a new NWOBHM band from London and we will be releasing our debut album in spring 2014, so I've been looking for some opinions about this single :-) Thank you ;-)

I'm beginning to see what you meant by quality control. Being out of the loop for the last few months, I'm struggling to catch up with all of the releases.

Thanks, 'Thrasher' sounds pretty rocking indeed... and that's for all. Other Dance With The Dead tracks are too straightforward for me, what is a major weakness of bands of the genre. I guess they needed about 5 minutes to write a songs like 'Only a Dream' etc. But I still find interesting projects. Are you acquainted with Le Matos? I find their Join Us album really enjoyable.

I'll have to keep giving the new Lazerhawk listens. I thought they were amazing when I first found them, so my expectations may be a bit too high. Got to let it soak in, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the halloween/horror style of the 80's used here. But I'll give it some time.

Hi. I gave a listen to Danger stuff. It's kinda crazy stuff for me, but I'm quite new into such music in general. I will give it a chance, but have to get used to such a powerful beat, haha. I find Lazerhawk quite similar to Carpenter Brut, but the latter still sounds more sophisticated than anything in the genre I've listened to. Do you know Absolute Valentine? I guess you may like it.

Hello! I was about to post you a reply in the "So Electric" track of Lifelike, here it is: «@IronPenguin, there are many artists with this sound. You should listen to great musicians like Miami Nights 1984, Flashworx, Kavinsky, Lovelock and many others! see my last.fm for advice :D» but seeing your profile I can deduce you know them almost all! Niiiiice taste. Cheers from Chile.

I like your avatar. Can you recommend me anything similiar to Carpenter Brut, I mean such an aggresive sound, in addition to all those retro sparkles?

For your sake, I hope so too! I missed Anoraak last time he was here, I won't make the same mistake twice! Especially with College and Electric Youth in attendance!

Yeah man, I was only 4 in '88 for the Seventh Son tour and they hadn't played my state since then (until Thursday night) so I had been waiting a long time to get a chance to see them. I was really hoping for Infinite Dreams as well and thought the chances were good that they'd play it, but alas, it didn't happen. With a band as prolific and awesome as Maiden, there's always going to be songs you wish they played. Songs like To Tame a Land, Still Life, Flash of the Blade, and Revelations need to be brought back on the next tour.

Yeah, heard the Chromatics album and Miami Nights 1984's Turbulence also - both of which I came to know about from your plays, so thank you haha. Turbulence was good overall and liked the chromatics album too (These Streets Will Never Look the same, Into the black are my favorites on the record), but not so sure of the big hype around it - Pitchfork's bnm and all. I cant say its that great. How did you find it?

Saw your comment on Accident of Birth page and i thought that i would share this song with you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgu64WOtXfA Just like the solo stuff of Bruce this is amazing! Heavy production unlike his two Maiden records.

Agree with you there, just listened to it on soundcloud, didnt like much. Ones where he has done more vocals and those robot sounds in his earlier records sound much better - civic transit, ari-es, etc. Btw, found one amazing remix Keenhouse did from Doctor's Cat's Italo disco, you might want to try - Original - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCsM1Am7xOM Keenhouse remix - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBGoGnO34qM

Hey, you heard Keenhouse's new ep? Summer Society, which was the first time I bought music on the internet after Deep in the Forest changed my life :D, had not turned out very sweet.. Keenhouse probably remains my favorite in the Valerie team though.
