Yo man! Dunno if you remember me but we used to chat way back and almost met up with each other at Bloodstock 2010 but it was sadly ill-fated. I've been reminiscing on things recently and thought it would be very cool to catch up. Holla back if you fancy reconnecting. I know it's been forever but shit man, we were friends so we're still friends far as I'm concerned.

Well if you ever muster up the energy.. I definitely recommend checking out Bestial Whore and I've recently been enjoying Masshu as well.. Great stuff, got a tape on the way of theirs.. However, hell yes, MN has a killer underground metal community.. I used to hate living here but this makes it all worth while.. Really music is life and it helps to have such good stuff around.. :)

Hohl is great black metal.. You did a good job.. I live in the same state as him but don't know him very well but the underground metal in MN is killer. :)

I haven't. They're recording under the title Manii? I suppose they couldn't take a full turn again and just release it under the name Manes. I have to admit I haven't paid much attention to their doings after they sort of jumped the UIver bandwagon and changed to avantgarde crap back then. But I loved the demos and the debut album.

Yes, I did take a look on your website, and your work on Nature is truly inspiring. I agree, art that serves the purpose of fame, or adulation is no real Art. We shouls create our own Art in our own way and it should come from our own experiences, the people we met, things we see with our own eyes. I wish you all the best on your musical journey. It's always so exciting to be able to create.

Well, to me creating is the only way of manifesting my being, as long as my heart can still generate emotions and Nature still gives me inspirations, I'll keep creating, doesn't matter the outcome, I just want to hold a pencil or a paintbrush and let it run freely on the paper/canvas. Most of my works are pencil drawings, and unfortunately they have come to destruction, against my will. I should have made a scanned version of them, which I didn't. I'm now traveling with just a pencil and a sketchbook. I've sent a recent work of mine to your gmail address.

I've studied Art History in France, since childhood Western Art and its culture have always been a huge passion of mine. I enjoy pencil drawing and working with charcoal. At the moment I'm on a trip in Paris so I'm looking forward to being back to the States, my intention is to set foot into oil painting and take a serious look at it.

Oh I see, what a secret lol. I live in the States as well but now I'm in Paris for a visit. Met Elan at Cernunnos Paganfest almost 2 weeks ago in Paris. I've just spent few days with him, showing him around Paris, had some good time drinking at the best metal bar here and yeah, he brought me his CDs and I'm really happy to own them now as I appreciate his works. He also showed me the promo pics you did for him, you earned the respect from me for that :)

Hi, I didn't know that you could notice when someone visited your page. Well I saw your reviews on Metallum on Elan's works and you also contributed to his artist profile on here. He's a dear friend of mine and I'm lucky enough to own some of his original CDs.

Well it's easy to love your work, you've got a great eye for metal and nature!<3 Keep it coming^^ Would be interesting to see what kind of music you'd make too seeing your mix of music taste:D Hmm I hadn't been that aware of Kagrra before, there are just so many jrock bands out there. Definitely one to set my sights to by the sound of them, thanks:) You can probably tell by my library that Moi dix Mois, Malice Mizer, X Japan, D'espairsRay, Versailles and Dir en Grey are some of my favourites but I'm always on the lookout for new stuff!

The only thing is... we create CWD because we find it cool and fascinating to depict the majesty and vastness of space in kind of novel-like fashion. Tracks where we actually put lots of passion, usually remain unnoticed. That's why I find it amazing. Coldly calculated music, recorded by two emotional folks, one of which creates harmonic background and second random, improvised FX soundscapes - human inhumanity. Something like that. Yet another rubbish project had grown into a genre-defining monument, which we're about to steer. We've closed a chapter for sure. Now we're about to take another direction. It's undecided yet which one, but we're exchanging proposals.

This is kind of a serious compliment from you, thanks a lot. I still can't fully believe our cooperation with Marco will ever turn this serious and inspiring for other artists. Best luck, I've posted your blog on our Facebook profile.

It sure has been! I’ve just been working as hard as I can trying to get college projects done:) Not much time for anything else these days. What about you? Yeah I was over admiring your stuff on deviantart so I thought I’d go check out your last.fm also (hehe cyberstalkingXD). I saw you listening to Kagrra, and Girugamesh and realised that I haven’t been giving j-rock enough love lately, not for a while actually! So I’m getting around to fixing that:D

So many releases man, haha, I'm not exactly sure what genres that aren't heavy metal that you're into? Lately I've been spinning the new Beastmilk relentlessly.

Yeah doing a bit at a time is good advice. I think my problem is that I just want to do too muchXD Getting into art was a big change for me also cause I'd been studying science for the past 3 years. Art was what I always wanted to do though but I never thought I'd get it until last year. I think the pressure to do well in art now will be good for me cause it's my second try at college. How's your career change getting along? Hope it's working out, these decisions sure aren't easy.

No problem, you deserve them!^^ I'm envious because I haven't been able to work on any of my own projects in the past while. By that I mainly just mean practicing and getting better at painting and drawing but time just seems to escape me recently>_< I'd also love to write a book and make a comic and/or graphic novel but it seems impossible at the moment. I need a magical stopwatch lol.Honestly how do you manage your time so well with the blog and Kholdstare? I was accepted into the art university that I applied to last month so I'll be starting that in September:D I'm hoping that I'll find more free time once I move away from home again. I'll also be closer to the metal gigs so hopefully I'll be able to get more metal into my life alsoXD Yeah money's why I haven't made any travel/festival/concert plans this year either. Gotta work and save for college and make sure I can eat lol. Yeah I probably should just invest in better needlesXD Looking forward to the new Watain album?

Wow your Kholdstare Design is coming along really well!:D Especially love the photography you've chosen for your page here<3 Tis cool to check back and see it all^^ Was thinking of you the other day cause I was sewing a split seam in my leather jacket. I managed to break three needles lol. How the hell did you manage to attach all those patches to your jacket?XD Get to adventure to Tuska Open Air or anywhere else this year?

Hello, thanks for nice words :) Unfortunately it's not my cat - I got the photo from the Internet - though my necklace; the picture is photoshopped. I've never had a black cat, although I've always wanted to. As my previous kitty girl has been missing for almost two years and my mourning is almost over, I plan to get a little kitteh soon. Cats are amazing :) And your Hell Satanic Kitty is beautiful! What is his/her name? And you have a great music collection. Really, lots of respect.
