Hey, read your lament about having a bunch of tapes on Arcadia's "Keep Me in the Dark." This device should help with the conversion: http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Portable-Tape-Player-Headphones/dp/B0038OLL2Q

Regarding Journey? I'd have to say I was as skeptical as any 80's fan. Pineda's got a whopper of a job to live up to, but I think he does really well at it. "What I Needed" and "After All These Years" are 100% Journey. It's like comparing Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner. Jordan and Perry were the classics, Rayner and Pineda are the guy who inherited a massive legacy and need to deal with making it their own.

Just read a great shout from you on "Well I Wonder" by the Smiths. Awesome stuff, thanks for putting that there. Makes me realize I wasn't the only one!

Don't you diss my main man P Diddy bro!... Dat Police track was nothin' until Puffy did his Rap! .... he he he ... I agree with you totally man. Why can't rappers write their own material? They take a fantastic song and turn it into shite! Talentless C Rappers!....

As you have already noticed,I 'm a big listener of "Flocks" music..I discovered that album a little bit later, the best times of them were the mid eighties in Germany, later on there was actually nothing to hear anymore about them in my country.. So,I saw this album here on last.fm and took it in my library.. Good songs on,indeed.. Have a nice day.. Markus from Germany

i am besides myself with envy. my ultimate dream is to see the cure live, and meet robert smith (not like that's going to happen..) but they never tour where i love which is upsetting.. ahh, i'm guessing the editors are different from english band editors? i will take your recommendations on board!

Thank you, I'll take a look at the site, (haven't been there for a while). Some news you may find interesting - Burgess and Lever are playing together again. They had a practice at The Roadhouse in Manchester and will be playing at The Academy on 14th Sept. This gig was originally just John and his band 'Bushart'. The gig sold out when people found out Mark was going to be doing the singing. It would be great if they could all get together again.
