What is new Jack swing? I also like Amy winehouse but I was unable to get into her music because it sounded absolutely nothing like anything I ever heard before and was outside my comfort zone.

Shock. I didn't think anyone was on Last.fm any more- I thought it had gone the way of Myspace and Bebo. I'm still rocking in the free world. KLF is a trudge down memory lane. I had almost forgotten about your lactose tolerance and your Minnie Ripperton addiction....

hello, miss ghetto fabulous! could you vote this up for me, please? http://www.last.fm/music/Senators/+images/94314627 also, given your love of old school hip-hop, here's a shameless plug: www.senatorsyo.bandcamp.com. that's my hip-hop group, very beasties/wu-tang oriented. if you could give me a listen and let me know if you like it (or hate it, for that matter), i'd be super appreciative. thaaaaaanks :)

I need recommendations. I am open to trying anything hehe. I even liked Archandroid (which you sent me) .. Ah and regarding Rae and Ghost as a team. I do feel they complement each other very well, but not like yin and yang. I see them as Dom and Marcus (from Gears of War if you know about it!). But perhaps I would take OB4CLII before SC, because it is just very well perfectly crafted as a music project. It doesn´t lack in any major area I feel. There are a couple of weak-ish tracks on SC (Stroke of Death makes me nauseous). Fishscale is dope too! I might like it more than SC but it has been some time before I listened to them. I will listen again soon, and my opinions change all the time :| so dont take anything as concrete.

The beat on the Intro to 4:21 brings tears to my eyes. Its one of the best intros IMO! But yeah, Nas and Meth really need a better ear for beats. The Daughter´s beat is GOLD but the beat on ¨The Don¨ is horrid. >_> Thinking about MF Doom ... I have heard the album with Madlib. I like it! On Masta Ace´s album which he produced, the beats are amazing but somehow, I feel they don´t fit Masta Ace perfectly. On the song called Think I Am he raps really well, and he holds his own against BDK and Masta Ace which is an achievement in itself. I wonder how Redman would sound on MF DOOM beats.

oh yeah, I would take MW over ANY album ;D. Maybe I would take Tical over SC though. Somehow it just makes me reminisce over good times with a lot of weed. I don´t listen to it too much though. I dont know where that forced comment comes from really, I feel hes a bit like MOP in his delivery. You know how Meth talks in a way that really comes out in his flow. I dont feel the same about Ghost. I was trying to think of songs on Enter the Wu Tang that had ghost on them, but I couldn´t remember any (I don´t worship Enter the Wu as some people do, maybe.)! D: I really feels he sounds way better on the type of beats he uses on his albums, which stray away from the hardcore, rugged underground Wu type. Either way, Ghost is definitely an amazing MC. But somehow I just haven´t gotten into his music much >_> .

One thing however, which I forgot is that Raekwon hardly raps about anything other than coke. I did like all 3 of his recent proejcts (OB4CLII, Shaolin vs. Wu Tang and Unexpected Victory) ... I wonder how long this ¨Golden Era¨ for Rae will continue? D: .. I fear ghost´s might be over already. Method Man might be next though! He sounds hungry on that candy song he did hahah

let us not forget Inspektah Deck too. On Wu albums hes the king for me. Just wreaks havoc on the microphone! I would never consider it criticism, unless someone is ripping on Redman hehe, and I really appreciate that someone cares for my opinion (on here) :D ... I dont have many friends into hip hop or any of the other things I like. Thank you! and I hope that nothing I said is taken as criticism either!

From a creativity point of view, Rae takes the cake, Ghost and Meth don´t really come close at all (I really enjoyed Pinebox Story, Pyrex Vision, The SCROLL!!). Storytelling wise I say (today) that Ghost and Rae are pretty much equal with their own styles (though not many would agree with this statement). But maybe overall as an MC I would say Meth is the best, because of his effortlessness, his rapping is just effortless and just the way he flows is amazing! Its between him and rae for me. Ghost has a somewhat forced and high pitched delivery that I dont care so much for, but I wouldn´t disagree with someone who likes it.

Well, I haven´t really thought about it much, but now that I do, I have a lot to speak on this topic. Flow wise, IMO method man is in another league altogether, neither rae or ghost come close. Ghost and Rae actually have a similar-ish flow, thats the way I see it. Musically Raekwon over the years has really tried to keep it ¨Wu¨ and his music really has a hardcore mafia movie feel to it. I can´t say the same for Ghost, his beats are usually of a ¨pop¨ (I really dont know what to call them!) kind. I can´t really get into Supreme Clientèle and I really think OB4CLII is one of the best Wu solos. I just get super amped whenever it comes on!

Thanks for the suggestions, I am familiar with them been awhile since I listened to both of them but Ohmega and Edan is dope., definitely a fan. Those two are definitely 2 artists that aren't given as much credit as they deserve. If you ever have anymore or would like some suggestions yourself don't hesitate to ask I'm always glad to help out.

Yo yo, been a while.. Thought I'd drop you a line about Cal Tjader's 'Morning', followed by O.C. & Buckwild's 'What I Represent'. Not to mention 'Fluid' by the Beatnuts. Magic..
