Also, I see you've been listening to some recent Blut aus Nord albums same as me! I only just got into their more recent output after discovering their Memoria Vetusta records a little while back. They have such a rich and vibrant sound that's very oozy and addicting, I'm looking forward to their new album!

Cool, I'll give them a listen! I just got turned onto this crazy tech slam band, Paroxysm Unit. If you didn't like Ignominy, it might be a pass for you.

Cool! I was playing Paroxysm Unit on repeat. That shit is wild. I'm checking out Anachronism now. They're good! I'll be listening to them for a while.

Acanthosis is pretty cool. A new metal duo from Canada. Young kids with a good grasp of metal composition and the skills to play it. "Scriptures of the Accursed" is their album. What have you found?

Sweet, I'll check them out! And so far I've been going back to Cosmic Putrefaction's latest album pretty consistently this year. Super spacey and atmospheric Death Metal, probably my favorite in his discography! Also have been none-stop listening to Dismember's debut since they put it back on Spotify (again).

Nice! I'll check those out. Also, I discovered Hath and have been playing their newest album, "All That Was Promised" and their previous "Of Rot and Ruin" a lot. Some great tech death from that group. I saw them play in the hole-in-the-wall bar here in town a about a month ago; great show with Inoculation, Cognitive and Redivider.

Have you heard Allegaeon? Real cool Prog Death band. 2016 album, Proponent for Sentience, is a good one to check out. They have a brand new release, DAMNUM, too (I haven't heard it yet).

I've heard their song Concerto in Dm but not any of their other stuff. I'll check it out, thanks!

I do. Old school Norwegian Black Metal, modern fusions of Black Metal and Folk and anything in between.

The album "Bereavement" by Graupel might be up your alley! Some super sweet Japanese deathcore.

I ordered Fragments of Solace when it released. The mail has been so slow that I just got it about a week ago. Still, glad to have it! So good!

Your compatibility with MunkeyChips is Super. You both listen to Blue Öyster Cult, Neurosis and Nile. I really need to listen to more Nile and Neurosis.

Yeah man! It had been a while since I heard Neurosis and had to jump back in. They are great. Have you heard Blue Oyster Cult's new album? I thought it was kinda "meh."

I have listened to it once and I liked it pretty well. I thought it went on too long, and it should've closed with The Alchemist.

I liked Tainted Blood and The Alchemist but nothing else really grabbed me. Maybe on another listen that could change.

It will go into my rotation eventually in 2021. The finale of me working my way through the entire BOC discography. Minus the new live albums. Too many live albums!

It depends on what kind of hip hop youre looking for, these days there's many more different styles and sounds than it used to be but if youre into the old school new york stuff I would recommend Flatbush Zombies, them and the whole Beast Coast thing are the closest thing to that old new york style. If you like the 90s memphis sound like Three 6 Mafia I would recommend SpaceGhostPurrp who does a more modern take on it, check out Blackland Radio 66.6. I also recommend Danny Brown - XXX, Chance the Rapper - Acid Rap, Lil Ugly Mane - Mista Thug Isolation and if you want to get into the trappier stuff, Playboi Carti - Die Lit and Young Thug - Jeffery or Slime Season 3

Hey man, what's your favourite Death album? Mine changes often but nothing beats Human imo. The quality of the music contained within blows my mind. Sean's drumming, man.

It's hard to pick a favorite album from Death. Gun to my head,I'd be choosing between Symbolic and Individual Thought Patterns. Symbolic has some of my favorite guitar riffs and solos; Individual has that sick fretless bass from Di Giorgio.
