Here it is. Made in Germany, since an imported one from the US would've cost me a fortune. https://imgur.com/a/TqXG8PH

I've been "collecting" ugly album covers for quite some time now. See the gallery: https://imgur.com/gallery/ZypHeWc

The albums leading up to "British Steel" are getting progressively more heavy. From 1981 onwards, the band started to use synths. If you prefer the pure sound, stick to their '70s catalogue. "Sad Wings of Destiny" (1976), "Stained Class" (1978), "Killing Machine" (also 1978), and "British Steel" (1980). Their first album, "Rocka Rolla" (1974) has more of a hard rock sound.

I really like the sound of 70s metal and hard rock from that era that comes close to metal is why I went and listened to the album. I did listen to Rocka Rolla too last night but it wasn’t that heavy. It had some blues influence on it though I liked. Not sure if I should try sad wings of destiny or stained class next but I’m going to listen to the rest of their 70s albums and British steel next week probably.

I’ll do that. I’m really curious about their latest album since everyone seems to agree it’s very good but I’ve found a comfortable niche so far on the path I’ve took. I never properly listened to Judas Priest until now since I was more into Iron Maiden when I was younger.

Stained class for me has some really heavy stuff on it, but it’s also bass heavy. I don’t think painkiller has so much bass emphasis but then again I never properly listened to Judas Priest until now. I’ve only heard Painkiller the song probably years ago.

The heaviest album clearly is "Jugulator". They went along with the groove metal trend of the '90s and took a lot from Machine Head.

I always respect the physical scrobbles—it's the metaphysical ones that keep me up at night! Now, if you could just help me decipher the cosmic importance of digital scrobbles, we might just solve the universe's greatest mysteries over coffee. 😄🌌

Hi, how do you scrobble physical media?

Physical over streaming is always a good attitude to have! I also mostly use streaming to discover stuff, but CD and vinyl will always be the real way!

I do it the same way. Streaming is great to discover things, but it's also totally unrealiable and things can disappear over night. Neil Young comes to mind.

Yeah, i noticed from your "about me" section, hence i commented. Sadly not many people from my generation buy albums anymore, or even listen to albums really. Born 1998 myself so i guess i'm in the minority who still does. Also, cool taste!

But it also depends significantly on the influences one is surrounded by. I have four daughters aged 13 to 19. They all buy CDs now. They've had their parents' huge CD and vinyl collection around them their whole lives and had access to it anytime.

Yeah, i think for me it also came from my father and my big brother, more so the latter, he has always a been a music lover and album collector for a lifetime, much of the bands i listen to i've also heard from him.

No, that is the actual song. "Never Gonna Say Goodbye" does not exist. Read here: https://w.wiki/9QvY

For the time being, my shoutbox is limited to "users you follow and neighbors only". There are far too many deranged people on this site. 😑

I do, especially since I have a stalker from Brazil with countless unused (possibly hacked) accounts.
