Yeah, I've heard 'bout it :O. The news it's been creating a hell of expectation, so there's hype LITERALLY in every tabloid you read and I...I'm not sure how to take it, yet. Pink Floyd has no bad records, IMO. That may be kinda risky :P as the real PF will always be (and this is IMO again) the 4 of them! Those are PF’s Golden years. I don’t like when people struggles on “which member is more PF than another”. When the truth is they won't be able to play together again as Rick passed away in 2008, and the ones who are still alive, won’t be able to resolve their differences, either u_u. This album will probably be an extention of the “Division Bell”, I presume. Well, I must point out I'm honored by the fact that PF reminded you of me :D!

I heard that some of the other HD remakes of PS1 classics were amazing, but all as a whole normally take a step back in textures or sounds. I haven't play too many so I can't say, but at the end of the day it is up to the consumer to decide if it was better or worse, you know? Personally I think I will always go for the originals, but that's just me.

I think the magic vanishes with a remake though that could be due to the lost sense of nostalgia or something. Though a perfect example is the HD edition of Silent Hill. They HD versions sound was a little different, but the background textures were totally fucked up. The mist was see-through! So the whole...mystery and scare factors were almost completely taken away. I am not sure if they patched it, but looking at that now they really turned a great game into a horrible one. So HD remakes aren't always the way forward.

Neo Exdeath became my bitch for a while. I still love listening to it even now. But the rest of the tunes yousaid are truly amazing and I love them all. Especially Man With A Machine Gun. Maybe I'm A Lion is probably my favourite. Yeah, they will keep pumping out the HD remakes if we (the fools) keep buying them. I wont lie, I have bought some and I didnt dislike them...but I have no idea why I bought them when I have the originals at home.

To be fair. Credit where it's due. The most recent Tomb Raider was a fantastic game and I truly enjoyed it. I bought the HD edition on PS4 and I was more than impressed by it. So they get points for that. I have heard great things about Sleeping Dogs too, but I haven't played it personally. In terms of the their FF franchise though they are a joke. I don't like the fanboys asking for a remake of 7. A great game, yes, but a remake would spoil the nostalgia I believe. That's why I hope they never make a FFIX remake. That game is closest to my heart and it would kill me for it to look stretched or something. Though redefined sound wouldnt be unwelcome...though the soundtrack is fine as it is. (Clash on the Bridge...YES!) - I assume you have checked out The Black Mages - Also, Kingdom Hearts does look like a promising prospect and I loved the games, but...it's been too long. Part of the magic is gone. But I would still buy it.

Oh they love dem gils $$$. After the bitter disappointment in XIII I don't know if I want another one anymore. After seeing the trailers and so on I do want to try it, but my heart doesn't belong to Enix. Squaresoft, yes...but Square Enix....no. The true Final Fantasy was FFX. Let's be honest...we all know it to be true. I have no issues with anything after, but could you honestly tell me they are on the same level? They truly aren't there is no diverse story or character developement...the battle system is not longer the classic ATB as we once knew it. Do they feel like Final Fantasies? Hell no. Jesus XIII angered me when I saw the Summons. I want big fuck-off Gods and Demonic creatures....not Transformers.

Real FF3 or FF6 which was named 3 in the US? I assume you mean real 3 as you said about FF6 inan earlier shout. I haven't played the remastered one, but I think pretty much all the HD FF's are catastrophic if I am honest. Buggy and what not. Bu I will say that I like the idea of the extra dungeons and content too. They need to stop remaking FFIV though. It's fantastic, but there's too many versions now.

It was pretty linear which was...sometimes good, but sometimes bad. It's harder to play now after you can easilly explore a world like you could in a Final Fantasy for example. The storyline wasn't enthralling, but as you saiid, the combat system was great. The parties were too big though. You had plenty of enemies to fight, plus a boss, but because your party was often over 6 and the maps were small everything felt really cramped. But...like D&D, it was all about teamwork, you know? Shame it wasnt multiplayer...though I guess you couldpass the controller around.

It was kind of like D&D. You had you party and you would have to move them around the map to kil the demons and restore the world. Typical RPG storyline, but it worked like a table top game too. You could mix your party and it was strategic. Obviously an archer could hurt flying enemies whilst a swordsman couldnt etc. Then you had like pincer attacks and so on. You had to really think a couple of steps ahead. It wasn't majorly difficult, but still challenging.

Tombi was amazing. I remember seeing it on a friends shelf...asking to borrow it and the claiming it as my own. Pandemonium is the kind of game that they will probably never attempt to make again on console. I used to have so much fun with that game, and it was reasonably hard at times too. Dark Cloud? I feel bad that you haven't. That was truly a diamond in the rough. If you enjoyed grinding then it was the game for you. Upgrading your weapons so they evolved into something new was something pretty new and exciting at the time. I preferred the second one, but the first one is still worth play. I was pretty sad that Level 5 stopped making them. The randomised maps are a bit old school and wouldnt work on the newest generation - too boring for the "fans" I guess. Did you ever play the Sega series Shining Force? That was an amazing series of games <3.

Shenmue was Xbox...and maybe ps2? I had a PS4, but I am honestly happier without it. Gaming has become an expensive habit. You have twice as much for half the game. It's a shame really. And don't get me started on DLC. Some of those games you mentioned are true blasts from the past. PSychonaughts <3. And Koei? I assume you mean like Dynasty Warriors and so on? I used to love those but I played them to death so I can't even pick them up anymore. I love the history though. Me? In terms of the pre-Ps3/360 gen I quite enjoyed: Onimusha, Pandemonium, Tombi, Destruction Derby (<333333!!!!), Dark Cloud/Chronicle, Rayman, Crash Bandicoot, Timesplitters, MGS, FF (of course), and so on. Those are probably my favourites, but I am sure something else will come to mind soon.

I will be sure to check them out. I havent played anything long winded in a while,. Modern games tend to be quite short compared to the older generations. I am actually trying to find a few time consuming games so perhaps they fit the bill. Shenmue I & II are certainly worth your time and money. Do you remember the .Hack// series? What other games do you like?

The Junction system was too easy to exploit in FFVIII and turn yourself into a monster. This is the even on the first disc. I don't think I did everything in FFVI, but I did get all the characters and kill Doomgaze and all the Dragons and so on. As for FFIX I have done the same as you. I got all the cards (Paaaaaaain!) but I didnt get them all mastered (impossible) and Excalibur II isn't worth it in my opinion. What did you think of Crono Trigger?

9...or 6? You're my new hero for that. IX is the ultimate game and I unshamefully know it inside out. I truly adore it, but I do think they took a step back with the ATB. I mean...with an active bar things like haste don't really play a part due to the long wait times between attacks. That being said, in VIII it was the opposite. Junctioning haste to your speed just turned you into a speed demon. You could get in dozens of attacks before most enemies could hit. VI was also a masterpiece though. Probably the best in terms of all round cast - it felt like anyone could be the protagonist dependant on your preference. Glad you can see the plus sides of the job system, though I agree with you that it wasn't the best, but I do miss it too. It's not as fun as it used to be, nor as tactical.

I don't hold much stock in taste-o-meter either. It's an interesting tool, but it changes on the slightest things. People I was super with are now low and vice versa so I tend not to follow it. Even so, it's nicer meeting people with different taste so I can find new music. And yush! All hail the black mages. Thogh Vivi is a pure badass I miss the older days of the class system on FFV. Black mages aren't as good as they used to be in the FF franchise. Vivi was probably the last decent one actually. Now it's all about spamming A/X

it's fascinating to notice how great are, in general, the bands that come from the 'Scandinavian Peninsula'. In fact, one of my favorite bands is Kingston Wall. Damn, it was so awfully tragic to find out at the time that Petri Walli was actually....dead. I'm gonna check out those other bands you mentioned too. Von Hertzen Brothers were also an interesting Finnish discovery :). Concerning my tumblr, well, I do what I can xD. Thank you.

As Cranston said during the Emmy Awards "Thanks Vince Gilligan for giving me the role of my LIFE". I think that tells a lot. I've listened only one Ulver's album (Blood Inside). I'm gonna check out the other ambiental ones. Are you a fan of music like me or you may also play any instrument?

Yeah, actually one of my favorite TV shows ever, (I'd even dare to say 'my fav. one', but you know, typical stuff of not fanboying too much something, haha) so, thanks indeed for your appreciation, but I think I'm still an amateur. Do you have any musical recommendation? I'm very opened to a almost any type of music :). Cheers!
