haha. I mainly kinda dwell in ambient / electronic spheres, but I really listen to every genre (though the vast majority of stuff doesn't do the job). I agree, so far I think everything he's made is at the least listenable, and like, at least half his stuff I save lol. I've been a pleb and neglected Classical the most xD what suites / tracks do you recommend?

hey mate, I recommend the Organ Works and the Art of Fugue, for a start. They have a vibe that reminds me of the atmosphere created by electronic music, so you may like them. BUT....!! There is one electronic artist I think you must check: Entheogenic. All his stuff is amazing. I recommend starting with the self-titled album and also with Spontaneous Illumination.

i'll take you up on the challenge! so far Entheogenic is a bop. whenever i hear epic dubs like this I automatically think Subnautica, the best praise i could give haha. you should check out bunbleman's album 'anthill' (all lowercase). organ crimewave is probably the highlight by a long shot (dat breakdown halfway in~). its very noisy IDM, but it's well worth the ear fatigue. :)

exatamente!

hey friend! Great to know you also like his work! I have been listening to his albums a lot lately, as well as Vangelis. Ah, be sure to check Kitaro's Kojiki album, and his Silk Road playlist on spotify, which reunites a lot of his best work! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1TTpXcVhcfAjruF4blTdNc?si=ac08343f4b684386

hey there, thanks! I actualy really like Quaristice, I think it is a grower album, it takes some listens to really sink in. I really recommend Lab's Cloud, Carbon Based Lifeforms and Entheogenic for atmospheric electronic music. Entheogenic also has that "prog" feel, the songs progress a lot, and the albums are very epic! There are some recent electronic projects related to the Berlin School scence, like Redshift, which have amazing ambiances/textures too. All those projects I mentioned above have that "futuristic" , sci-fi, atmosphere, which I love to hear in music. For more weird stuff, I recommend Matmos. Very creative IDM!

have a great listen! Also, if you like Xenosaga II, she composed the OST for Xenosaga III, the official soundtrack is amazing. There's additionally a set of extra tracks for Xenosaga III (that were never released officially), available at the cantaperme fan-website: https://canta-per-me.net/media/music-downloads/

If you like mid-era Enslaved maybe you'll like the album "Foulest semen of a sheltered elite" by The Ruins of Beverast.

Thank you, Sir! Yeah, I pretty much like Enslaved as well even though they seem to be a bit underrepresented on my playlist. I'll get the new one soon.
