Absolutely. One of my favorite bands at the moment, Circle of Ouroborus, are really exceptional. They mix post-punk with black metal in such a fascinating way. I'd say their best output is Viimeinen juoksu and Autuala. They also have non-metal releases like Hiljaiset sanat (folk) and Kotiinpaluu (post-punk) which are also excellent. Definitely a weird one to start with as an introduction to black metal but worth checking out!

Followed you back! What genre of music are you looking for in a rec? If you don't have one in mind, I can default to my favorites.

More recs: Panchiko's DEATHMETAL (shoegaze, not death metal) (a formative album to me), flashygoodness' Tower of Heaven OST (chiptune), Mega Ran's Mega Ran in Language Arts trilogy (hip-hop) (such a memorable concept especially if you like literature like me), betcover!!'s Tamago (art rock) (the yellow cover one), Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Lift Your Skinny Fists (post-rock) (well worth the listen despite its runtime), demahjiae's And, Such Is Life. (experimental hip-hop) (a depressive masterpiece), Black Kray AKA SICKBOYRARI's City of Doves (cloud rap) (another depressive masterpiece. Kray is the father of modern rap along with Lil B). Let me know if you'd like more. There's no rush to get to all of these, but I hope I could help in expanding your horizons. Keep on discovering on your own too and support independent and underground artists!

Really appreciate it! I’m not too good at giving recs but based on ur library given that u fw Tyler Kanye and Frank I’d recommend Rocky - esp liveloveasap and at last long asap, also would recommend mac miller too esp faces swimming and circles (faces is his best rapping/production imo and swimming and circles are more melodic and less hip-hip adjacent).

another green world is my favorite, i saw youre going through bowie etc so felt it might be up ya alley, but first three albums + before and after science are really good 'art rock' i guess (i felt like its important to say 'early' to distinguish from the ambient stuff, coz idk if youre into that)

Hm.. I actually recommend to play it chronologically! I know that Pet Sounds is their most critically acclaimed album but thats the problem(At least for me). Use to have an old acc that is now deleted where I just play and play Pet Sounds and still didnt clicked. That is until I listened to their discog chronologically where it finally clicked! You just have to hear how they evolved as a group!
