I grew up in a country where owning a car was a privilege for the rich and I guess I never grew out of that mindset. I have a bus stop, a supermarket and a train station within walking distance, so I don't see the point. Driving seems really dangerous to me, even as a pedestrian. I feel the same way about children, I am just not brave enough to drive or have kids :P (2/2)

I love the font! I have to look more into Photobucket, apparently it still exists! Thank you for the recommendation. It was my first time in Malaysia, and even in Asia, yes! My next vacation will be in 32 days! Oh, I did not know you did parts for police cars, that is very cool. Your job sounds awesome if I am honest. You drive a different brand of car? haha. Oh no! Which one do you drive? Nope, the bus stop is a really short walk away so there is no need. I find it ridiculous that everything is taxed to high heavens here so unless they significantly lower taxes on insurance, fuel etc. I am not getting a driver's license. Haha no, I will not change my mind on children unless I become a billionaire. Then yes, I might have one or two. I am too poor to have children but that's okay, there are enough people on this planet.

thanks, I'm liking this app too! Only $10 a year. But taking a break from it this time :P Strangely, I got an e-mail from Photobucket saying I have an inactive account. So yeah, it's still around! Well I guess you really had fun and you'll always remember it :) another vacation soon? :O I've heard from other people online and from Google that America gets and takes a lot less vacation time than most of the rest of the world. It's common for us to only have 2 weeks vacation a year. It seems normal to us, we're used to working a lot of hours here without vacation time. Well, I've had several cars over the years, but I have a Pontiac now. I actually might get a Ford soon, something newer, to go with my current car. I have space for 4 cars in my driveway, so that wouldn't be a problem. And yes, you do need lots of money to have children. That's one of the first things I think about when someone says they're having a baby, is can they really afford it...

But yeah, I grew up really poor and all my cousins had rich parents, so I massively resented that and would never put a child through that. I compare having kids to having cars actually. You wouldn't buy a Ferrari if you knew you couldn't afford it and its upkeep, yet people have children and overall they're just as expensive as a supercar. I don't make nearly enough money for that and I know of at least three co-workers who make the same amount as me and most of them regret having kids because they underestimated having to work 40 hours, not being able to afford childcare and their husbands not being nearly as supportive as they thought they would be. I am happy just having cats. How about yourself? You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

Hey, no I'm flying on the 13th of March so I am still around. It's good timing that your niece had the baby on the same day of your mother! Does the baby also have the same name? How are you enjoying being a great-uncle? It's always refreshing to have a young one around. Are there a lot of Irish people at your job? Also, what is green beer? I've never heard of that before haha. No, I am not Irish ;-) To be precise, I am 50% Austrian and 50% Egyptian :P Thank you for wishing me a safe trip, I genuinely hope I'll be able to handle the heat, haha.

Not quite yet but I am counting the days! Haha that is fair enough, it is so nice of you to take care of your family like that, I wish I had had an uncle like yourself. Hehe green beer sounds so creative! I've never actually experienced St. Patrick's day in Ireland, can you believe it? March is usually the time of year I take my extended vacations. Yep Malaysia is pretty much in the middle of Asia, geographically speaking and it looks super interesting, judging from what I've seen so far! I'd send you pictures but I don't know how! Maybe I'll start a travel blog or something. How is life otherwise?

I reactivated my Instagram for the trip as many people have asked for pictures, I can send you my link (it should be public accessible even if you don't have an account): https://www.instagram.com/susannabloderer/ I hope I'll have mobile data fairly quickly.

time to start a new thread :P yes, we'll be celebrating Christmas together, but he'll probably be moved out before New Years, but we'll just meet at my sister's house to celebrate :) we have Good Friday (before Easter), Memorial Day is definitely American. In late May, we honor lost military members. We have Labor Day in September (just a day to celebrate the American worker with a day off with pay). We have Veterans Days in November (for people that used to serve in the military). And we have Martin Luther King Day in January (if you don't know him, you can look it up and find out about him). I think my username was Rubberbandman16. Wow, 3 or 4 accounts? Why did you keep starting over? Well, Last.fm completely changed their style and format in 2015. A LOT of people complained about it, there were petitions and everything. And me and several friends back then actually quit. Oh, I was talking about Dominion: Day Of Destiny. It came out this year, it's just Dominion with......

Hey! I think the thread really got lost. I wonder why that keeps happening. Last.Fm's notification system could be better. Anyway, how was your New Year's? I haven't heard of Memorial Day, but I have heard of Labor Day. Does everyone get the day off in America? We don't have Martin Luther King Day, we have a bank holiday coming up though on the 5th of February called "St Brigid's Day". I couldn't find Rubberbandman16, maybe the mods already banned him? I kept starting over because I was really young when I signed up. I did sign all the petitions, but it didn't lead anywhere. I didn't even know until a few days ago that CBS/Last.Fm now belongs to Paramount+. I wonder if that will make any difference? I have no idea why people fake scrobble, it is just such a waste of time. I like having an accurate library and not one with spam listens. Haha yes I know what lol means, or rofl. I am not sure if kids these days use those terms anymore? I am a bit out of the loop on those things.

From the 13-29 to be more precise but the travel takes up around 4 days. I know, I've never heard of anyone vacationing in Malaysia either, that's why I am so excited. No, it's just for entertainment. To me it looked ideal because there are so many different cultures, it is really cheap, everything is very technologically advanced and unique. They have a carbon copy of a French village built into the Malaysian landscape, crazy theme parks and Buddhist temples. Oh she has a baby, congratulations! Are you now a great-grand-uncle? Haha are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day? I know a lot of people in the US have Irish ancestors. Haha I am Austrian and will be in Malaysia where it's Ramadan (a Muslim fasting period), so there will be no celebrating (I am not a Muslim, I just don't drink :P) Oh tell me more about what albums you are looking forward to! I love the fonts! Yay (: It looks like you wrote me a letter with your hand, in cursive :D
