Sorry, no low compatibility just super instead. What did you think of Chromatics? That and Geographer's album Myth are my AOTY candidates so far, you might like the latter if you haven't heard it yet.

My parents and family encouraged me to get rid of my introversion, and so I really stretched myself as far as I could go. I learned to be sociable, talkative, and basically changed my nature, which is why I have a high "Ne" now. I can relate well to someone like Ellen Page, who I'm pretty sure is an INTP. But yeah, it's best if you exercise the Ne, I have learned if you don't it gets pretty depressing. Actually, what I'm trying to do now is exercise my Ti, haha, which is why I'm okay with being very introverted at the moment. About my circumstances, let's just say I'm having a bad roommate situation and am currently trying to move out to get a one bedroom.

See, and I'm never aware of my emotions, I just love music, so I scroll through songs until I find something that I like, until I find a "vibe" with a song, a certain intensity. I suppose what I "like" is something that has to do with my emotional state, but I never think of it. I have to actively try to think about my emotional state, maybe the way I listen to music is just instinctual. I used to fall asleep to it as a teenager, but I haven't done it in 5 years, it really doesn't help the sleeping process anymore. I suppose I just love intense music, the intensity of sound is like a dopamine rush that I'm constantly searching for. Which is why I have completely changed my music experience, now I am really into progressive and metal rock. I do the same, cut myself off from people, but I have learned to accept it. I'm okay with it now because my childhood was quite horrifying for an INTP, I was surrounded by extraverts and sensors, and was forced out of my comfort zone.

I'm INTP too, and yeah I read that about music in the Si section of the Paul James INTP profile. I used to use music to change my mood, but now as I explore more music I'm actually thinking of how I feel; being aware of my personality has led me to a better understanding of music I think. These past few weeks I've been in a terrible mood and so I've been blasting a lot of progressive metal, but later at night when I have reasoned through my depression I switch to slow songs. I used to do that as a teenager, fall asleep to slow, soothing sounds on my ipod. You're really intense about your music, I used to be that way when younger. My mind is a jumbled mess right now, but once I am more at peace internally I'll be able to sort out how I feel, and thus my music collection. I've lost touch with myself thanks to external circumstances that are consuming my soul and making me hate everyone.

Hello, how nice! Yeah, Swedish music is great! Especially music from my hometown Göteborg (Gothenburg). You should check out Broder Daniel, Honey is Cool and My Darling YOU! all of them from are from Göteborg. And why not Caesars (formerly Caesars Palace), not from Göteborg though :) Cheers!

Yep, fits the school mood perfectly, made me feel like an "intellectual". I was in the serious zone, felt very introverted. Like someone that typically wears turtlenecks, glasses, sitting in the corner writing poetry whilst drinking dark coffee. Do you enjoy classical music independently or is it mainly a tool?
