You were asking if anyone has seen Banks live and I got to see her in Toronto in June. She's AMAZING. Puts on a great show, great stage presence. Absolutely loved her rearrangements for her songs. Can't wait for the album. She's back in Toronto in October and I'll definitely be there :)

I'll definitely give it another listen some time; I'm stuck on Burial right now man; I'm actually surprised you havent scrobbled any of his music... I'm still a virgin to the whole electronic genre as a whole, but yeah, I mean someone on /mu/ basically stated that there isn't another Purity Ring; that they're really their own entity (they namely based this upon the fact that their instrumentation is greatly based upon southern hip-hop and the whole chopped & screwed element I guess.) And I've actually heard a lot of positive things about Portishead, and meant to delve into their catalog but my backlog is ridiculous. I have an ex who loved cocorosie and I wasn't too into it, it's really out there imo, haha

Hey, thanks for the response; I forgot I left that shout. Anyway, I tried to give both Grimes and CHVRCHES a listen, it wasn't really doing it for me. It was too upbeat if I recall correctly; I'm looking for the more downtempo, ethereal feel that goes with their music, you smell me? I'll give Phantogram a try; and Crystal Castles are good but Alice screams too much for it to be comparable in my opinion. I think the closest I've found are a few witch house bands and Beach House.

Soz for the late reply, so lazee with social sites (hence why I don't have fb twitter etc). Not much, still living with the gf in our studio near the panhandle. Planning on being an electrician so taking the test in July (it's only once a year so have to wait). Other than that, doing drugz and going to shows whenever I can. Gunna start working more starting this week. How about you, where you livin' at?

Very cool. Frontest or rows. Well worth the money, even if in HP Pavilion. Just wish I'd seen them in their current "prime" (2008/9) than right now because In Rainbows is more up my alley than King of Limbs. And the setlist back then was apparently more well rounded. Taht said, we did get Planet Telex (!)

Rough. Not sure how I slept through Toro y Moi and now both nights are sold out.

3/2 Toro y Moi. Nice. Only reason I'm not doing 3/1 is cause Bottom of the Hill has Rogue Wave

Such high praise! I could say the same, seeing as how you seem to dig the same electronic/female vocalists stuff as me.
