Had to take a break from music for a whiiiile, trying now to slowly regain the mojo. Life is hard, be harder.

I love the sound personally. Check out the band Other Half, similar to SM with a heavier feel.

I love me some soft slow emo jams from the likes of emo bands such as dangers. I only listen to soft music since my soft side is taking over me trough the years. XXXO

What a catchy damn record it is... I can already see it engraved with the summer of 2020 with the amount of plays I'm going to give it.

Honestly the only reason I paid these $3 for "PRO" is to edit scrobbles that spotify completely fucked up with their silly way of naming artists / albums...and last,fm wants you to pay for this simple function apparently, so I'm gonna give it a try for a month, see if it has any good effects beyond the editing. Cheers!

I listened to it once at 6AM, I need a proper listen - hopefully today will be the day. Your thoughts about it?

Just gave it another spin and the second half especially is crazy good. Step Into You into The Summoning is a blast.

ok, i'm back with impressions and some recommendations. no joy is cool, i can see myself coming back to it. i've been hooked on sweet trip's you will never know why lately, so this kind of sound, while not exactly similar, tickles the same spot. automanipulation is probably the album which is most up my alley, really great post-hc. don't know how i overlooked it for so long. although i'm not into those vocals, everything else on "new" jeromes dream is pretty great. guess i'll just get used to them with more spins. shook ones, at least what i've heard so far is also very good and fun, but that kid dynamite/lifetime influence is waaay too obvious, even more than with death is not glamorous. i'll give them a few more spins to see if anything sticks. foie gras is not my usual cup of tea, but i don't dislike it. maybe i'll play it when i need some background music. jamie lenman's solo work was a good call, really interesting stuff from what i could hear, i will download everything.

as for dilly dally, i realized what was my problem with them the first time i heard them. the music is cool, but those courtney-love-on-helium vocals are turn off haha. vocals are usually a tipping point when it comes to new music for me. sometimes i get used to them, but at times i just give up. sad baxter and ramonda hammer for example have a similar sound, but i find the vocals more appealing.

and now the rec's. i can see the lack of on the might of princes' second album, you need that fixed. speaking of lack, check out the danish band of that name, as well as their singer's new band tvivler (if you don't mind lyrics in danish). also if lyrics in foreign languages are not a problem, new albums from spain's viva belgrado and boneflower (post-hc/screamo) are a must. while we are still in screamo teritory, uk's cassus is amazing. chaotic, but beautiful. latest album from cara neir was one of the biggest surprises last year. all sorts of sounds combined well on that one. another strong 2019 aoty contender was the st. pierre's snake invasion's "caprice enchante" (try thinking of mclusky+the chariot mix). another great finding was deafheaven guitarist's indie side project heaven's club. i see you love beastmilk, so check out rope sect, they have an album coming soon. i keep coming back to karate's catalog every now and then. and last but not least, kill the vultures' "carnelian".

Glad you loved some of the stuff, Just got Automanipulation on vinyl too this week. Automatic Crowd into Suffermouth is such a high point on the record for me. I will check out the stuff you've left me with and will come back to ya, much appriciated!

i just got my three vinyl orders today, and i guess all of them can pass as recommendations for you: rope - come closer now (slow, sludgy, kinda bluesy post-hc from uk), gillian carter - ...this earth shaped tomb (us screamo with some post-rock influences, they have a great audiotree set online) and storms - we are storms (instrumental (post) rock from croatia, super groovy). just in case that previous post wasn't enough haha.

I took a quick look at your all time favorites and just gonna throw some stuff at you from the top of my head that I think you might enjoy a lot. White Lung, Comadre, Fiddlehead, Drug Church, Gouge Away, Exit order, Ceremony (later albums are not as fast and punk but and I enjoy them a lot, but if you're looking for fast and angry exclusively then just start with violence violence first), Glassjaw (especially the last record Material Control). Take a look at my last 365 days listens as well, you might find some stuff you really like and I would love to get some random recommendations from you too.

We'll have to wait and see, the newer single they've recently put out with heavier vocals is insanely nice too.
