Congrats on your 4th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY today :-) ... What do you favour most about lastfm nowadays ( and if you still remember, what did you like back when you joined us)? ... P.S. I dedicate this track (e.g. available in youtube/spotify) to your "birthday": ... genre: minimalistic/experimental -> from album ("piano edition (album #2)"): ... 'between 3 and 4' (with 99 BPM) ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/between+3+and+4 ... btw: here in Germany we now have to wear masks when shopping, driving bus etc... And in your country, Luis?

Thank you :-) Let's hope the economic recession won't be so hard globally. But let's wait for the vaccine first, most people I read, say it will take at least a few months... hmmm! ... Let us distract more with music: What's on your musical agenda for today? tomorrow comes the "mix of the week" playlist on spotify so I will listen that for sure. Currently listening slowish Chinese songs

Hello I discovered your profile through a shout you made on Zach Hill's last.fm page. You have great taste and I think you should check out Ozean by Ozean . It's a great shoegaze/dreampop band. Would love to get some recs too :)

Happy new, musical year from the chilly German side of Europe, Luis, I see you are being here at lastfm for more than 2 years already :-) ... Can you broadly recap (from today's viewpoint): how did your "musical exploration" evolve over time? ... Wishing the best for your 35k scrobbles, and 1700 artists scrobbled milestones ... How I stumbled upon you? ... lastfm shows you at #3 position in this weekly "Discovery Leaderboard" stats: last DOT fm/user/Indyalanjones1/listening-report/week ... I am at #1 there ... nice to meet you

I usually encourage people that want to make of music their hobby to explore it in a similiar fashion as I did back in the day. First, you gather all the songs you currently like in a list from most favorite to least. Then, you simply search up the band/artist name on YouTube or Bandcamp and listen to some other songs you haven't previously listened from them. After repeating the process over and over, I encourage to "take" the YouTube algorithm and begin by clicking on suggested songs/videos, this way you can end your year enjoying similar and "different" music at your own pace.

My music taste really changed over the years. I began with easily predictable and by the numbers indie rock to objectively awful pop tunes (Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry...) until I manage to get a deeply interest in music. The journey has been fun! I can now understand the passion of noise and avant-garde artists that I had previously rejected and I havee even come to enjoy (better) pop and indie songs. Thank you for your interest in my music taste, I appreciate it a lot. Greetings from the northern deserts of Mexico!

Hello again :-) That's a nice process you mention there! ... Yes, the musical journey is fun for me, too, can't imagine life without it... I guess for every music one just needs to have the right mood, environment, then it can be appreciated... Wishing you a great Tuesday in Mexico!
