yeah i understand that. kyte is just perfectly understated. um jonsi was incredible. probably the best concert i've been too. the most original concert. he was so theatrical. and detached from the audience. which was perfect. you've gotta see him. yeah, M83 is a must. i love that man.

Hi! I saw you on The American Dollar page, and thought you might like my new album of ambient electric violin music http://www.last.fm/music/Scott+Murphy%27s+Self+Affirmations/Music+to+Grow+Older+to I admit, I am spamming you (just a bit) but if you come on over to my page and leave a comment, we will have non-preformed conversations of a human nature. The efforts to recruit fans has gone pretty all right so far, you will notice that I have received one death threat, which isn't terrible. As long as I can keep a 10:1 compliment to threat of murder ratio, I will continue to feel all right about myself.

Insomnium that we all love, so I think you'll like it. Just don't expect something mind-blowing. And btw. you MUST check out the new Collaspe Under The Empire album "Shoulders & Giants". I have always considered them as just a mediocre post rock but this new album is something else o_O Definitely their best so far! And also check out The Milo - Photograph album. Here is a song from it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVzMhjlZkBs One of nicest post rock songs I heard. Gives me goosebumps every time :)

Hi! I'm doing fine, thanks :) Searching for new bands again :D Recently I have gotten into post metal. I like this mix of post rock atmosphere and slow, heavy guitar parts. There are some pretty intersting bands in this genre. And about new Insomnium, yeah I heard it ofc :) They changed the clean vocals and in one song on the album they are just downright bad :\ No point in mentioning the name of the song, you'll recognise it when you hear it lol. They are just so cheesy and they don't fit with the music at all. I can't say I dislike the cleans just because of that one song (in other songs they sound better) but I still kinda prefer the ones on the previous album. Other than that, there aren't any changes here, which is kinda disappointing. I expected they would try something new here but the album sounds almost the same as Across The Dark. I actually think ATD is better. It simply has more memorable songs. But One For Sorrow is still a great album, it's still good atmospheric-

Have you met the user MrArtichoke? He has a cat in his avatar pic. The scene is not as spooky as yours, but the cat looks like a dead ringer for the one in your avatar pic ! (I guess the nose is a different color, tough)

Hey Jack, is there anything you can recommend that has a similar sound to Hammock and Amman/Josh? or are they really that unique.

Yeah the first 2 albums aren't very atmospheric and melancholic as some other bands and they sometimes sound more like some metal than post rock so I was kinda disappointed. I didn't expect that kind of style. The new album is quite different though. I'm really loving it and after I listened to it I decided to check out the first 2 albums again and now I'm loving them too =D Very energetic and dynamic music :) But I recommend that you check out the new album, I think you'll like that one ;)

Wow thanks for telling me about this single! That was really atmospheric and powerful, and that long acoustic intro was really nice. I'm impressed ^^ Seems like the new album won't disappoint :D I hope the band will tell us the release date soon. And yeah I heard the other song too. The singer from Dark Tranquillity sings in that one which is pretty cool :) btw. Did you listen to the new Maybeshewill album "I Was Here For a Moment, Then I Was Gone"? The first time I heard them I though this band was nothing special and I never really listened to them much but after I heard this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5XNIqEYgyY I became a fan in an instant! xD
