Hello! It's the graph of a discontinuous function. I study mathematics, and see these type of functions as somewhat poetic, I guess. Odd, yeah, but hey, you asked! lol thanks for friendship, great charts!

oh, and yeah, i really feel like girl groups get much better (/more musical) material in k-pop, generally. though a lot of the boy bands still have plenty of material worth the time (shinee, big bang, infinite, etc).

glad to hear it. i do like SNSD a lot (their I Got A Boy album, aside from one bum track or two, is super strong, and yes Gee is incredible), but nothing tops f(x)'s track record for me. past two albums especially. if you haven't seen it, you might enjoy this little side project of mine: http://www.k-pendium.com

Hi ya, actually I would go just to see her. I only have the gigs bookmarked as I do a monthly Dublin gig guide on my radio show. On the other hand, really thinking of going to see A Place to Bury Strangers. Tickets booked for Tune-Yards, Sleater-Kinney and Sharon Van Etten so far. :)

yeah, late 50s/early 60s hard bop is terrific. I guess apart from the biggies (Miles, Coltrane etc) check out Grant Green (Green Street and Idle Moments are both excellent) or Wes Montgomery (Incredible Jazz Guitar Of.. is classic) Both are guitarists. Charles Mingus (Mingus Ah Um) Thelonius Monk (Monk's Dream), Man, there's so many albums to check out. Lee Morgan (The Sidewinder) Jackie McLean (Destination Out!)....you can't go wrong with anything on Blue Note during this time either.

oh, the last.fm server has been a bitch the last week or so. it isn't even recording my scrobbles *sad face*. Haha, I know right? Me too, I used to listen to a shit load of industrial last year, but I've slowed down a bit. Yeah, they are releasing a new album this year some time! If my memory serves me correctly, it was Light.

oh! so you didn't know. you probably won't like them -- it's k-pop. no one album is all that great, i'd just cherrypick songs: "Blue," "Cafe," "Fool"...

well, actually it'll be 4 times after the show in june. twice this year and twice last year. it really is hands the greatest show ever and i'd say this even if they weren't my favorite band. i hope that you'll get to experience it one day. as far as the traveling goes, i only had to travel to philadelphia, the other 2 shows were here in new york and the next one will be as well. and by the way, there's nothing finer than consecutive days off.

i'm sure you'll get there soon enough my friend. haven't listened to GBV much in the past couple of weeks (very odd for me) but i know once it starts getting closer to the next show in june, that's all i'll be listening to for days on end. i really hope they'll make it your way some time before the year is over. i feel spoiled in that i'll have seen them 4 times between this year and last year. anyway, your idea of lounging sounds perfect. it's just starting to get warm over here in new york so in due time i'll be doing the exact same thing. speaking of YLT, i'll be missing them when they come to new york, yet again! i think there's something out there larger than life that will just not permit me to see this band live.
