I know how that feels... & no I didn't see the foos when they were here last. I love their early stuff and SOME of their newer stuff...but i guess just not enough to get me along.Dave Grohl is the man and should be on the drums all the time i reckon. I just saw System of a Down out west and that was rad, and i've seen Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age over the last year, really wanted to see Them Crooked Vultures when they were here but like yourself finances were tight, That's life i guess?

Hey there.... Awesome to see a lady with such good musical taste as yourself here in NZ! See you really dig your Soundgarden, going to BDO '12 now they're headlining? Argh if only we had Soundwave here in NZ, so many f'ing good bands playing there.

It was epic. As of right now, it's my fav. show of the year. They ended the show with "Slaves and Bulldozers" probably the best song ever to end a concert. At the end of it, Chris was grinding his guitar against the ampliers and Kim used his tongue to play few riffs. Freaking Mind Blowin'!!

Heh. Mostly anyway. You know how you have end of year exams to get a ranking/whatever to get into uni? Well, there's this test the STAT(Special Tertiary Admissions Test). One part of the test is Quantitive (basically science, maths and sort of general knowledgey type stuff) and the other half is Written (or English), which involves writing essays :/ Anyway one of the options I'm looking at after this course now is the STAT, so eventually I'll probably end up at least doing one essay so I know what to do and stuff. Last time I took the test I failed on the english, which is one of the reasons I decided on this course. Still I'll be happy to just finish this course and get the certificate for it. And thanks for the luck. lol lookit me rabbiting on

No essays for me so far. Doing a course to basically get the equivalent qualification of my Year 11/12 of high school.

That's okay. Just thought I'd say hi since it'd been a while. Things are going pretty alright at the moment, still needing to play catch up in English at the moment but apart from that it's all good.

Aw man, "Big Exit". That's one of my favorite PJ Harvey tracks. Actually, that whole album is amazing. I don't care if it's the 'mainstream' record - it's durn good stuff.

I've been listening to the Dead Weather for about a week:) I've heard the lastest single "Die By The Drop" on the radio and it was great! And now it's probably my favourite track of theirs:) Off Horehound record i recommend "Treat me like your mother", "So far from your weapon", "Hang you from the heavens"... The new record "Sea of Cowards" is pretty good, but so far i've listened to it just few times. I hope you'll enjoy them :)

I see we share a lot of artists in common. I hate to come to you as an artist asking for a favor, but you understand how important reaching out to people and sharing ones' music can be. I sing and play guitar for a band called Darkest Ritual - http://www.last.fm/music/Darkest+Ritual - on last.fm. We encourage the free download and distribution of our music. Music should be free for all to listen to should they enjoy it. Anyway, we've been described as similar to Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, and Black Sabbath. We have a new album coming out in the next week or so, too! Also free to download! I hope you'll give us a listen, and if you like what you hear, leave a comment! Please share with your friends, too! Thank you sincerely, Jason Schneider - vocals, guitar, Darkest Ritual
