I thought if I had nothing positive to say, I better say nothing at all, especially since I appreciate the artist as well as the label. But since you ask: for me the new album is too monotonous (but not in a good way) and the production powerless/flat. I think, you had better luck with this release than I did?

Neither do I. But it seems a lot of people have lost all sense of judgement and gut feeling. We live in strange times to say the least.

Hey, they also have got at least one heavy fan in Canada !!! :P My bestfriend is Canadian, and she loves them too...! I knew them around 2006, when I discovered Matze by listening to Megaherz. I felt in love with Matze's voice, and looked for everything he did before. That how I discovered TAE. Since then, I still follow Matze, and was so happy to have an occasion to see TAE on stage !!! So happy than I did the trip from Home, 1400km, to see them ! :) à l'instant

I am honestly blown away by that Vorde LP. so so good. As far as Fell Voices goes, I am kinda new to them and Ash Borer. I avoided those acts for a good while, slagging them off as hipster black metal. That was until I started putting two and two together, and realizing the stuff related to them is some seriously awesome work (Vilkacis, Urzeit, Akatharsia, Ruin Lust, Vorde..). Needless to say, I have both bands in my personal LP collection now. I love the first two Fell Voices albums, still have their third waiting to grace my turntable at home..Will get back to you once I've given it a proper listen!

As far as my informing you of the new black twilight circle stuff, no problem. Both albums are really good, though I will say my personal copies of the tour dub versions sound better than what's out there online. Even so, I intend to buy the pro tapes or vinyl, whichever comes first.

Haha! I thought you looked at my top artists of the last week and then realized maybe it just showed up later, but yeah they are fantastic, NZ and Australia are kicking ass in that department right now =)

Haha, that's awesome! Not many people like them both. Hildegard von Bingen is one of my favorite Medieval composers!

No no nothing like that. Guilty because I find most of it to be pretty dull and repetitive with a few notable exceptions (like Addaura). As for Skaur and Syven I'm still waiting for the former's album to arrive but what I've heard so far is great. I was expecting Syven to be mind blowing, and while its good I don't really agree with the hype. It is much more minimalistic and ambient than I had thought it would be. Definitely still worth a listen though! Another band you should definitely check out is El-Ahrairah - really good usbm!

Honestly I'm loving it! I thought their demo was good but this is really blowin me away. Its funny because I usually feel guilty listening to cascadian stuff but this doesn't even feel like the same music to me. How bout you? I've also been tryin to get into Rhinocervs, where should I start?

The song "Death Of The Feeble Masses" is one of the best examples of what they do best.

Gleiche Meinung deinerseits?
