Oh and also get Garageland - Last Exit To Garageland for some more Pavement-esque Kiwi indie rock.

yeah but I wasn't really digging them other than Heaven On Fire. Only heard their 2010 album too.

dude, I've been listening to a ton of stuff lately and expanding my taste, I'm glad you asked. Here's some stuff I've been digging alot lately. Mulatu Astatke & The Heliocentrics - Inspiration Information, Vol. 3 (great jazz) Sam Cooke - The Man And His Music (essential soul music) The Clean - Anthology (Pretty sure this is Pavement, but in 1980) Paul Cary - Ghost Of A Man (great blues rock from 2010) Emeralds - Does It Look Like I'm Here (awesome ambient music) Astrobrite - either Crush or Pinkshinyultrablast (Loveless wannabe) Stateless - Matilda (downtempo electronic from 2011) cLOUDDEAD - s/t (my favorite album, experimental hip hop. can't remember if you listen to them) Themselves - Them (cLOUDDEAD-esque hip hop stuff, pretty interesting and intriguing.) Moe! Staiano's Moe!kestra! - Two Forms of Multitudes: Conducted Improvisations (cool big band improv stuff)

I finally was able to get into Microcastle. I still don't like it as much as weird era or cryptograms though. but I just got their first album, turn it up faggot. Was wondering what you thought of it. It's kind of fun, still need to give it more listens though.
