If you like Kate Bush, you might also like the nordic singer/songwriter Lucie Niemelä with her romantic debut album “Doses” Would be nice, if you could have a listen: http://www.lastfm.de/music/Lucie+Niemel%C3%A4/Doses

Not all that great if I'm totally honest. I mean, I have a job and I'm slowly climbing the ladder, but I'm still stuck in a dead end town which gets ever lonelier. Some good, some bad, but far too much indifferent.

Yes, actually. Five, including Jarboe, Lawrence English, and Pieter Nooten (did stuff that was used for This Mortal Coil) . There is a limit, 5000 I believe. After that, the profile becomes a fan page, which he already has. Oh the wonderful world of social media.

Aye. Also, He won't accept my "friendship" on facebook even though he keeps popping up in the people-I-should-be-friends-with-section. I think he's just short of the friends limit.

Yes! It's lovely. (Though, the one suggestion I would make for future shares is compressing the folder into a zip file before uploading--that way one does not have to download each song individually.)

He began trolling libertarian groups and they couldn't appreciate his wit, or his assessment of how bankrupt much of their ideology is, basically. He's still here as ACoolArseTurtle.

Only heard half of it, since I passed out last night. So far it's better than everything I've heard (other than Beehive). None of the songs particularly stick out (yet), but over all, it is consistently good. Very lush and inanimate.

Have you heard David Sylvian & Ryuichi Sakamoto? Only heard one song but I like. Also, Sakamoto co-wrote most of Secrets of the Beehive, if I'm not mistaken.

I like that one song of hers..you know, the popular one. Haven't actually heard any of her other covers. While I do like her Kangaroo, it did seem like a calculated choice, so yeah I guess I know what you're getting at.

Ello and happy Fith of July. Have you heard this version of Kangaroo? not as good as the others, imho, but worthy of a few listens.

I can't get enough of Beehives, though Japan hasn't clicked with me. I check 'em out though.

You know a lot about David Sylvian. Is there anything that sounds like Secrets of the Beehive?

Huh. I do not know that story. The album is beautiful, especially the hour long track. That's a bed tome favorite for me as well. need a link?

I guess The Dreaming, followed by Hounds, then Never Forever, followed by the Kick Inside... Haven't heard the Sensual World or Lion Heart, et al.
