This album is what got me into FJM to be honest, but it's a pretty good album. I love the sarcastic cynical lyrics and the production. Honestly I think the album starts a lot stronger than it ends. Leaving LA draaaags on too. the lyrics are great but the song is just the same chords and vocal phrases for 10 minutes. you have some awesome stuff goin on as well. lots of interesting experimental and psychedelic stuff. bark psychosis, stereolab, swans, zappa, all awesome and creative guys.

Thanks dude, Zappa is my all-time favourite guitar player and a huge influence one me. And Stereolab became one of my favourite groups over the last two years, some of the comfiest music I've ever listened to. And that's good, those are all the things I loved about his last album, can't wait to check it out.

Totally stopped scrobbling because of personal projects, and even tough I now have begun a new one I might be a bit busy , but I also proposed to myself that I would listen to at least one new album per month, hopefully that will keep me motivated to look for more albums(that's how it usually works for me, oh and recommendations I get). A friend of mine recently recommended Altar of Plagues - Teethed Glory and Injury , im not sure just how much you like black atmospheric metal, but whatever, give it a shot. On another hand, you got any personal projects going on? Hobbies? Just curious, cheers mate.

Alright. Here is the first album I dare recommend, Its called 'How lonely sits the world' by The Ascent of Everest. My favorite Tracks are Molotov and Mountains. Enjoy, don't forget to tell me how it went. Cheers. By the way, have you listened to ''Respect is due'' by the d-plan? It's on the d-plan terrified album, it's a slow tempo track I personally enjoy.

Oh okay yeah, Live at the Stone is pretty good. It's not incredible though, the Giles Corey live set that he just put up is way better.

Man did last.fm say I was listening to Voids? I was actually listening to Live at the Stone. I love Voids though. The non-Deathconsciousness tracks are pretty good, and it's really cool to hear how the Deathconsciousness tracks evolved. I go nuts for all things ELHR tho so

Glad to see were concurring on the favorite tracks.Yeah, I listened to some songs from Heatmiser on grooveshark and that was one of the impressions I've got, I'll give it a go tough, I'll take that comment as a piece of advice, the one about balancing themes out. I'll definitely listen to Elliot Smith solo work sometime this week, it takes me a while to just kinda canalize it. Listened to a bit of the Microphones work, had no idea that they were Mount Eerie tough,(Sometime I make an effort to just listen to the music, my bad). So know I'm also looking forward to getting at it. One of my fav tracks from Clear moon is 'The Place I Live' any hope I'll get to listen to something similar on the Microphones anterior work?

Man, if i had to put some sort of ranking into gloominess and dark aura, I would seriously consider putting 'Have a Nice Life' At the top, I really enjoyed Giles Corey, tough it seems from time to time his songs tend to go back and forth between melancholy and rage, (which was pretty amazing too, kind of like the perfect catharsis). Nothing like 'Have a nice life' to put up a good melancholic atmosphere; thats the vibe I've been getting so far(I'm still half way through the album). What about Heatmiser tough? Not quite sure where to start from him, any particular themes in mind?

*Laugh Quite Loudly*. That spiked a smile. Thing is , I listened to the entire album on a different music reproducer so it didn't get scrobbled, (just bloody clumsiness) and yes, effectively ''No one is ever going to want me'' is quite the darkish tune, I am deeply in debt.(Guess I know what i'll be doing these next days/weeks). I'll comment on the experience as soon as i get a real good grasp of the music. I'll be in the neighborhood. Cheers!
