Oh, and Shorter's I NEED A RIDE is one of the most wonderful pieces of art I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. 😍😊

Not easy to find someone who has as eclectic music taste as I do. But your love for Clinton Shorter & James Horner really shocked me!! So I had to message my admiration. Cheers!

no bars or live music scene and I felt that the food was subpar (freeze-dried cheese tortellini again?). =D space travel is boring is actually a song by modest mouse though I prefer the sun kil moon version. the title and lyrics are a good fit for my personality. i could elaborate on that but it's early and I haven't poured any coffee on my brain to get it going. also, sorry for the late reply, i've been on vacation.

-cont. Technically, the first soundtrack I loved was The Sims by Jerry Martin, I used to dream away during the "build theme" songs, the piano ones. I looked up the sheet music for them a while ago. :) I love Jurassic Park, by the way, it's a great soundtrack. What instrument did you play in your school band? And do you still play now? :) | I suppose I'm more of a true introvert; I'm rather shy with new people and I'm sure most people notice immediately. I can seem very extroverted with family and friends though. At parties, I'm usually the one talking quietly with one or two people, somewhere in a corner. I'm often obviously exhausted after socializing, though it really depends on the people I was talking with. | *prepares to be swamped in recommendations* :)

I'm actually very interested in human psychology, it's one of my favourite pastimes to figure out what people's motivations behind certain things are. I appear to have gotten a tie between four types, so it's basically a case of 'figure it out yourself'. Type 5, with either 4 or 9 seem to fit the best, though I'm more in between the two opposite options they give in the test most of the time. | I do remember my first favourite soundtrack, and it isn't half as classic as yours. It was The Chronicles of Narnia by Harry Gregson-Williams. I got the album after I saw the film in the cinema; I must have been 11 or so. After that I paid attention to the soundtrack when I watched movies (Stardust, Inception, Harry Potter, Avatar), but never actually listened to soundtracks without being very familiar with the original material, like I do now. Though I still prefer to listen to soundtracks in the context of the work it was made for, especially for game soundtracks. -cont.

Oh, Sweden. Never been there. I can't imagine leaving my country for another! | I personally didn't leave Zulf there, so I had to give up the Battering Ram and couldn't use it in NewGame+ until I unlocked it the second time around. I don't think you're a horrible human being for leaving him there though, he did send the Ura to destroy the bastion. Just like you, I chose the 'regenade' ending; I didn't think I could trust everyone to not make the same mistake again if I turned back time. | I shall check out the Iron album soon and will let you know what I think of it. :) | It's true, most of us soundtrack fans like a lot of different styles of music as well. The 'epic' part is probably why a lot of us listen to trailer music as well. :D | Sure, I generally accept friendship requests if I've talked to people a bit, and only reject random requests. Also, hello fellow introvert! Don't see a lot of people actually acknowledging that they are an introvert, but I suspect a lot of us here are.

Europe, you say? I understand why it would become a theme song. For me, Bastion was love at first play as well. The soundtrack stands out a lot, it really fits the vibrant world. :) I loved the unique art style as well. I still play New Game+ once every few weeks. I wonder, what option did you choose at the end of your first playthrough? :P Thanks for the recommendation, I loved Iron! I /could/ get past the vocals, actually, but I see what you meant by that. It's very indie and different. The music is very much my style though, love the percussion especially. The video is also something different. I shall check out some other music by Woodkid, see if I like it as well. If you have any other recommendations, they are always welcome. :)

Hello! Thank you very much. You too! :) I see your most played track is "Setting Sail, Coming Home" from the Bastion soundtrack. It's my favourite track from the album. :) Apart from soundtrack artists, we appear to have a few other artists in common as well. (The Birthday Massacre, Conjure One) Any artist you can recommend? There's bound to be one similar to those I mentioned in your huge list of artists. :P

Re: 2014 albums. Don't panic until December. You never know. Maybe, I don't know, June will grace us with 10 masterpieces in just 30 days... I am still deprived of listening to new albums due to my hard drive drama - :-( -, but I'm sure I will be adding Gem Club... and there are some brilliant releases (in my lane, rather than yours) awaiting in February. PS: Ok, re:the photo, I'll believe you. Only because you have no actual reason to lie :-) Let me know how you deal with the avalanche of random friend requests! >_<
