Yeah, I’ve been really getting into metal again since last year, checking out albums and subgenres I’ve never heard before and going down rabbit holes still, over a year later. Skramz is cool, though I’m not super familiar with a lot of it. I get really hyper fixated on certain genres to the point where one type of music will mostly be all I listen to for months sometimes. Now that I live in Nashville, I’ve been getting a lot more into country lately, haha.

AJJ is so great. Saw them several years ago for $10 in a tiny bar with like 50 people there. It was awesome.

Bryan showed me the album ...Like Clockwork by QotSA the other day and I can't stop listening to the third track; it's a seriously great album worth checking out!

One of my choir friends got me into Okkervil back in 2012, they're really one of the greats

I'm not sure if I've actually listened to their whole album. I've heard like three songs that are all good

Just El Scorcho. They played a lot from Blue though. They pretty much stuck to singles from the other albums, which was good. Really awesome show

Taking song length into account, the number of DT scrobbles really is kind of amazing

I kinda remembered Elliott Smith existed the other day and I've been listening to him a lot too.

I've heard of La Dispute like a million times before but never actually listened to them. I might check it out

My favorite Swans album is probably The Seer, followed by The Great Annihilator, White Light from the Mouth of Infinity, and Soundtracks for the Blind. I'm looking forward to new Boards of Canada, but I still need to get caught up on all the music released this year :( Also, your taste has been quite nice as of late, good sir ;)

The first song on the album is AWFUL. Once you get past that it's really good. Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, the main single, is fantastic.

Maybe if Last.FM would let me tag my tracks horribly, I'd bring it back. P.S. Mumford and Sons are horrible
