Thanks! Although my all time taste is kinda outdated, most of those scrobbles are from pre 2010 when I was in my teens tbh...

Thanks man. Yeah, the new site is horrible. It's like they intentionally took away almost everything that made this site amazing.

Thanks. Maybe I'll save that particular rant in a last.fm journal. I've ranted plenty of times about MM, but never received much feedback. It really is a strange band.

108k plays overall but your top track only has 57 plays... something very unusual.

We have scarily similar listening tendencies: still pumping the 3EB, have "A-Punk" in our overall Top Tracks, love the shiny-shiny soul sounds of hip-hop & R&B ("Family Business", Lenny Kravitz, "Good Life"). Any recs??

Yeah, I totally forgot about that girl until you brought it up and then I remember how horrible and annoying she was. I'm sure we have definitely been to a bunch of the same shows. Good taste, y'all.

EWWW!! Yeah, that's when I first signed up for this site and listening to a lot more metal cause of the band I was in. Seeing that shout was like seeing a really bad high school picture. How embarrassing. Haha. Yeah I saw....or more so overheard Kurt and his band at Pitchfork Music Festival 2011, I really really liked them so I pumped to see them in a club atmosphere. Any particular albums this year you think are your top records so far?

Say whaaa? Where was this shout at? Haha. Back in junior high, I liked a lot of metal bands and when I used to play in a grindcore group, we had a steady diet of old school metal we used to listen to. I still enjoy good grindcore, black metal or weird death metal here and there...but I would hardly identify myself as a metalhead these days. Ha. How was Kurt Vile? I plan on seeing him again in August

Cool, I'll check it out. I'm not really into reggae so it'll be a new experience for me, at the very least.

Is that Snoop Lion album worth checking out? I've seen some less than enthusiastic reviews, but I thought "No Guns Allowed" was a pretty decent single.

Well, I can tell I like it...and it's for sure a much more mature record than I think Goblin was in both lyrical and musical progression but Goblin was one of those once in a blue moon HYPED HYPED albums that ultimately I think Goblin will be remembered much more than Wolf will be, know what I mean? I think it's good and I like that he still puts stories within his albums so I can appreciate it for sure. I wouldn't say it's blowing me away really, but strong follow up! It's crazy when I met Tyler last fall he was telling me that he was going to try singing on some songs and at first I thought it was going to sound goofy if he did that, but it works on those tracks!
