Hello, my friend! Yes, I have seen the trailers for Ahsoka. It looks really impressive, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the story of the Rebels characters continue. I'm really excited to see live action Thrawn. I'm also intrigued by Baylan, and I look forward to learning about his history and motives. I also hope we'll see Force ghost Anakin, and I'm seriously hoping we'll also see flashbacks involving Anakin and Ahsoka during the Clone Wars. What about you? What are your hopes for the series?

I am really excited for this series and have high hopes. I am also desperately hoping that we will get to see flashbacks with Anakin and Ahsoka. Seeing the beloved rebel characters will be amazing as Hera is one of my favourite characters. And I can't wait to see Thrawn and hopefully learn about what happened to Ezra. I am also really interested in Baylan and his padawan and how they will contribute to the story. Also, I watched the first two episodes, have you watched it?

Hi, yes I have. I'm really interested to know about Ahsoka and Sabine's history that we didn't see in Rebels. I'm still fascinated by Baylan and Shin, as well. The performances are good, all around. The only thing I hated was the fact that Sabine was somehow able to survive being stabbed in the abdomen with no explanation. I'm also not to keen on visiting another galaxy, but we'll see how it goes. It was awesome to see Hera again, and Chopper was as funny as always. I hope we'll also see Zeb and Kanan (in flashbacks, obviously), and maybe even Kallus, as well. Only time will tell. What did you think about the episodes?
Actions
-
renobii
Yep, I was devasted to see Sabine being stabbed as I thought she wouldn't survive it. I am glad that she is alive but her miraculous recovery was very confusing. But other than that, I look forward to watching more episodes and seeing the story unfold. Also, I loved seeing Chopper again and the references to episodes of Rebels. Seeing Sabine put on a Mandalorian armour was beautiful and seeing Sabine play the hologram of Ezra was a tearjerker for me. And can't wait to see more characters like Kanan, Anakin and Kallus as you mentioned.

Hey man, I noticed you have a lot of Fleetwood Mac plays, I just wanted to ask - I only know the Rumours album I love that one, and played it so many times. Could you recommend me some other album from them that you'd say is similar to the Rumours album?

Hey, I would recommend the 1975 album simply titled "Fleetwood Mac" (not to be confused with their self-titled 1968 debut album, which I have tagged as "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac"), which was the album before "Rumours". I think the overall tone of that album is similar to "Rumours". Also, "Tusk" has a few songs similar to "Rumours" as well (though a lot of that album, especially the Lindsay Buckingham songs, are quite experimental in nature). I would recommend "Mirage", as well. Tbh, my favorite era of Fleetwood Mac is the Peter Green era, which the album "Then Play On" is my favorite FM album.

Hello there Ben! Hope you are doing well. I have finally caught up with the new SW material. I was overseas so took me a while to finish watching them. Andor is probably my favourite series of all time, it was so gripping and I loved every second of it. Also, have you finished watching the bad batch and the recent Mandalorian episodes?

Hello, it's great to hear from you, old friend! I am doing well, thank you for asking. I also really enjoyed Andor. My favorite moment was probably Luthen Rael's monologue in episode ten "One Way Out.", though the episode that effected me the most emotionally was probably episode eleven "Daughter of Ferrix." I think Syril Karn is a really compelling character, and I really feel sorry for poor Bix. Season two of The Bad Batch started out kind of clunky, but by the end I was completely enthralled. I loved the plot thread involving the clones' representation in the senate, and their mistreatment by the Empire. I also loved seeing the cloned Zillo Beast, and the last episode was gut-wrenching. I think season three of The Mandalorian has been good, but quite sloppily laid out. I think certain plot threads in individual episodes could have been better if they spread them out against multiple episodes, like the Dr. Pershing episode, for example.

'One way out' would be my favourite episode from Andor! So emotional and beautifully done! I also loved the episode 'Daughter of Ferrix'. And for The Bad Batch, I loved seeing Tech and Omega's growth throughout and especially seeing Palpatine and being reminded of his evil mastermind. I also liked seeing Chuchi as I enjoyed watching her in the clone wars episodes. And yes i also loved seeing the Zillo Beast. It is one of my favourite species and I wonder what plans Palpatine has for it. The ending was emotionally scarring and I still want to believe he is alive but oh well. And also I hope we get to see more of Crosshair next season. I enjoyed watching The Mandalorian season 3 however it isn't my favourite season. I loved watching Bo Katan and Din working together but seeing the state of the planet Mandalore again was depressing. Have you finished watching Season 3?
Actions
-
pteronophobic
Yes, I have finished Season 3. I thought the season was good, but I have some pretty big issues with it, I felt some of the storytelling was quite sloppy, and that Moff Gideon's character was underdeveloped. I did enjoy a lot of the action sequences in the final episode, though. I also liked how Grogu used his Jedi training to save Din and Bo-Katan.

Yes, I'm very much looking forward to the Ahsoka series, I'm especially excited to see live action Thrawn. I love how Ahsoka referred to him as the "Heir to the empire" in the trailer. Greetings, old friend! Yes I have, I've been really enjoying it. My favorite episode so far is episode six "The Eye", which in my opinion is one of the best episodes of Star Wars television ever. It's really interesting to see the SW galaxy from a whole new angle. A lot of people might find it 'too slow', but I think the slow pace allows the show to explore the characters in detail. It's great to finally see Coruscant in live action again, and I really like the scenes with Mon Mothma. What do you think about it so far? And are you excited for Tales of the Jedi?

Glad to hear that! I have been really enjoying the show as well. I also really enjoyed 'The Eye', it was a brilliant episode and I look forward to watching more. I love how easy it is to relate to all the characters, loved seeing different perspectives and the writing is brilliant. Also, I actually prefer it being slow as I find it easy to immerse in the storytelling and we get so much details. Yes, I am very excited for Tales of the Jedi. I loved the trailer and can't wait to see Qui-Gon and Count Dooku together and Dooku's fall to the dark side. What about you?

Hi! Yes I have. I enjoyed it overall, but I felt that in many ways it could've been better. Like I said before, the parts with the more introspective moments with Obi-Wan were my favorite. I loved the flashback scene with Anakin and Obi-Wan practicing lightsaber dueling. Also the moment with Anakin and Vader's voices mixed together was really emotional. I loved seeing Obi-Wan regain his confidence and faith in the Jedi. I also loved seeing Qui-Gon's force ghost at the end, though I was under the impression that Qui-Gon wasn't able to manifest his physical form and could only appear as a voice. And of course, Ewan's performance was fantastic as always. I also enjoyed seeing the Grand Inquisitor, and hope we see more of him soon. That said, I feel some of the effects and direction could've been better. Also, the story itself, while good, certainly wasn't perfect. What did you think of it?

I enjoyed it too overall and it definitely wasn't perfect. But the flashbacks and Qui-Gon's force ghost were one of my favourite parts and I really enjoyed the ending. I love how they showed Vader to be terrifying and Obi-Wan regaining his connection with the force. The duels were amazing to watch and were very emotional. And Obi-Wan saying hello there was just what I needed :) I would definitely watch again. Thank you for your reply! Take care!

Hi! I was actually going to ask you you the same thing on your profile. I was going to wait a few days just in case you hadn't watched all of it yet. I just watched the season finale this morning before I went to work. I thought it was overall good, but I felt it didn't live up to its full potential. I think I liked the first two episodes the most (especially Boba's time with the Tusken Raiders.) I really liked Temuera Morrison's portrayal of Boba, and thought Ming-Na Wen did a great job of making Fennec Shand a menacing character. Just to clarify, have you seen every episode yet? And if so, what did you think of it? It's just that I don't want to spoil it if you haven't watched every episode yet. I'll go into detail about what I liked and disliked about it when I hear from you again.

Hi! Yes, I have watched all the episodes. I enjoyed the show overall but there were some instances where it could have been better. And yes I enjoyed watching Boba's time with the Tusken Raiders very much too. I never really liked Tusken Raiders but watching the show made me appreciate their species more. Oh yes, Ming-Na Wen was did an amazing job 😌 in the show. I had mixed feelings while watching the finale though. I would love to hear you go into detail about what you thought of the show.

I thought the show did an excellent job of world building and expanding the mythology of Tatooine. I thought Black Krrsantan was really cool and that Cad Bane's live action debut and his showdown with Boba was amazing. I also liked the scenes with the Annihilator droids. The Mandalorian episodes were great but it was disappointing that they were included in a show that's supposed to center around Boba Fett. Seeing Luke and Ahsoka together was amazing, nevertheless. I was disappointed that the show didn't really dive deep into the criminal underworld, which was the thing I was most exited for going into this show. I felt that the show had a lot of build up but not much payoff. Even though I love Grogu, I'm disappointed that he's back with Mando so soon. I think it cheapened the first two seasons of that show, and I'm afraid that they might make it too gimmicky, when at first it seemed that the show wasn't going to lean on the marketability of Grogu for awhile. How about you?
Actions
-
-
renobii
Yeah, I had very high hopes for rest of the episodes after watching the first two since they were really well done. I enjoyed the remaining episodes but as you said I was also expecting them to go deep into the criminal underworld. Seeing Luke, Ahsoka, R2 and Grogu together was beautiful but then again I wanted to see more Boba and those episodes contributed very little to Boba's story (I feel like I am complaining at this point 😅, at least we got to see Luke training Grogu). And when Luke presented Grogu with the two options, I expected Grogu to choose Mando but as you said I think it was too soon (The way Grogu jumped up to Mando was beautiful though). Also seeing Cad Bane was fantastic as he is one of my favourite Bounty Hunters and it was great seeing Cobb Vanth as well. Now I can't wait for the Kenobi series.

Yeah, I'm excited for the Kenobi series, as well. I'm just worried about the whole idea of another encounter between Vader and Kenobi. I feel it might break the lore if they're not careful. I hope it's through a force vision or something. I'm really excited about Hayden Christensen returning as Vader, and hopefully Anakin (maybe through flashbacks or something), as well. That guy has received so much underserved hate over the years, and I'm glad to see him finally returning to Star Wars. I'm also excited to see him in the Ahsoka series, hopefully as force ghost Anakin and maybe we'll see some flashbacks to the Clone Wars (seeing live action Anakin and live action Ahsoka together would be amazing.) I also hope Qui-Gon will appear in the Kenobi series. What are your hopes for the Kenobi series? And are you also excited for the Ahsoka series?
Actions
-
renobii
Oh yes, I am very excited for Hayden returning as Anakin as well, the hate is very much undeserved. It would be amazing to see him. Omg yes, I was also hoping the encounter between Vader and Kenobi will be via a force vision. Also, I hope we get to see Qui-Gon's force ghost and possibly him training Obi-Wan how to become a force ghost or even maybe talking with Vader, that would be cool. I was also wondering if we would get to see any inquisitors possibly hunting for Obi-Wan or Luke. I would love some lightsaber duel scenes. Seeing live action Anakin and Ahsoka would be wonderful. I really hope that happens in the Ahsoka series. I also have a little hope that we might also get to see Ahsoka looking for Ezra or Thrawn in the series. I would really love to see live-action Thrawn. I really love reading your opinions. Thank you for sharing!

General Kenobi! Yes, I've watched every episode so far. It's hard to say which is my favorite so far. Whoa! One of my favourite ships is also the Royal Starship Nubian. It is scary how similar our favourites are. And as you said, definitely the Ghost, Falcon and I also love the Imperial Shuttle (I think it looks beautiful) and Slave I. For alien species, I like the Zabraks, Wookies, Lasats, Bothans and Togruta. I also love the Zillo beast as well. I wonder what Palpatine did with the Zillo Beast if they were successful in cloning it as Palpatine ordered. Other creatures I really love are Purrgil (I loved watching them in Rebels), Rancor, Varactyls and Loth-Wolves. Also, do you have a favourite bounty hunter?

Yeah I love whales so I also love the Purrgil, I especially love the role they played in the final episode of Rebels. I think the space-inhabiting creatures like the Purrgil and the space slug in TESB are really interesting. I'm hoping we'll find out what happened with the cloning of the Zillo Beast in the Bad Batch series. My favorite bounty hunter might actually be Durge because of how old he is (about 2,000 years old if I recall correctly) and because he's virtually indestructible. I really like his fights with Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars microseries. Of course I love the bounty hunters they used in The Clone Wars like Cad Bane, Aurra Sing and Embo. I really like the episode where Ventress becomes a bounty hunter. Of course I like Jango and Boba Fett and thought Zam Wessel was pretty cool. I also like 4-LOM and Zuckess's story in the short story collection "Tales of the Bounty Hunters".

It's a very unique piece of music and I can't think of much like it. However, I could recommend "Turiya and Ramakrishna" by Alice Coltrane. It doesn't have the tanbura drone but it's a very mysterious-sounding piano-led track that makes good use of blue notes with hammer-ons and pull-offs like Joe Bonner's work with Pharoah.

I must say, I would recommend his first two solo albums the most, they are "End of the Game" and "In the Skies." The former is a really tripped-out instrumental almost-jazz fusion jam session while the latter is more straightforward with Snowy White contributing some guitar work and lyrics relating to Green's growing spirituality. I also own his third solo album "Little Dreamer" as well and would recommend that album, too. Actually I would recommend just about everything in his solo discography, though be advised that everything after "In the Skies" is out of print and CD copies are usually very pricey. Anyway, sorry I rambled on a bit, hope this has been helpful to you. As you can tell, Green's music means a lot to me.

Not really. There used to be a music shop near my job which I would occasionally go to after getting off of work that had a mostly out of tune double bass that I'd fool around on, but unfortunately that music shop no longer exists. Other than that I've never really played a double bass and I've never actually owned one. I've love to own one someday, though.
