It's the joys of our world; businesses always have to be selling *something*, useful or not. Maybe you gotta start inventing winter latex outfits. I don't know how padded latex leggings would look on a tall scandinavian guy, but I'll wear them if it helps you. Have you found any respite during Christmas then? And yeah mine's just a regular down. Following the news too much I think. Also, don't say you couldn't people. I thought I couldn't/still can't (see how damn long it takes for me to reply to these) but customer service is somehow...different. Once you start you just kinda do it without thinking.

So the business isn't doing well at the moment? Or you're not doing well? Or.. I guess both? D: I'm doing alright. Past 2-3 months felt rough buuut you know, it's ups and downs :D And now it's christmas time so it's all ups for me. I've been working at a restaurant in a... care home? Is that what you call it in English? A place for people who need help in their daily life. So, mostly old folks with various levels of dementia. It's pretty fun. Often busy as hell and pretty tiring, but rewarding.

You and I both! It's been ridiculously cold over here, and its wrecking havoc on my sensitive skin! Maybe I'm not cut out for living in the north after all... Oh well, at least I'm not a cold blooded reptile, just to look on the brighter side of things. Aw sweetie, I'm sorry to hear about that. But it's totally ok, too, maybe you're just burned out after hanging around for long. I just miss you is all <3 how else has life been?

" I was recently listening to a podcast about how agriculture is destroying everything and we have to get back to hunting animals" Yep you're right. None is better than the other, I'm beginning to think. But Meat takes more resources. It's proven. So from a sustainability perspective, being a vegetarian is the way forward. But Who knows, I could turn into a meat-eating beast in the future. I am open to that possibility.

"Did they not check my luggage on my way back?" Funny you should bring that up!! They woke me up from my sleep and I was asked to step out of the bus, I was surrounded by half a dozen cops (with the bus crowd watching in anticipation of something movie-like) I said these are country liquor bottles, and aren't worth much even outside of Goa. I told 'em it's for personal consumption and not for sale/profit. They didn't seem to buy it. They were like pay us Rs2000 bucks, I was like fuck off. That's twice the amount the bottles were worth. I was like take Rs200. it's all I got. And I gotta get back to sleep now. They settled (The audience was disappointed) I boarded the bus while cuss mumbling a few choice words in the general direction of them uniformed clowns and the crowd. I was disappointed. I went back to sleep knowing all too well that I've been had.

Fantabulous! I think the word 'Binging' took on a whole new meaning. It was beautiful. I managed a 'tan' yes, I'm brown and I got a tan, hehe. Hung out with some really interesting people: musicians, skateboarders/surfers, Jugglers, yoga gurus, graffiti artists, neo-hippies and techno-junkies. Was fun. I bought 6 bottles of country-made liquor back. 3 bottles of Coconut Fenny, 2 bottles of Jira(Cumin seed) Fenny and 1 bottle of Cashewnut Fenny. I'm sorted for winter :P

Vinyl is nice to collect because it feel very... Real. It's silly, I don't know how to describe. I love most the packaging, the size (how dirty), and occasionally the nifty extras like stickers or booklets. Anybody who says vinyl is superior to digital is fooling themselves though, but it''s rewarding when you can get it to sound nice. Some records look pretty too, like splatter or some other color besides the basic black. Oh and yes, a bolognese translation would be nice! I don't trust google translate so much, ESPECIALLY when it comes to recipe. I'm glad it turned out nice for you. Men only cook meat HAH! So what does that make me? :p ...oh right. A lost cause. I almost forgot!

Hmm, that's sounds tempting although I don't know much about women's underwear, I quite like the ones I have, but men's pants suck. And coats and jackets. And most sweaters. And boots and scarves. Maybe I'm just a lost cause! Or maybe I know someone who I can commission such (or some of) things. ;) I first started listening to Amanda Palmer probably when I was around 15. Actually it was a live album and fell in love with her when she sang that song about Vegemite. She's just so much fun. I don't have many plays of her on this last.fm account but I've been around since about 2006 listened to her frequently back then. These days it's just about finding new music and and getting through the backlog I've accumulated.

Clothing of the dead would make... Either a fascinating video game, documentary, or comedy. I would play/watch them all, heheh. So yeah, I'm a professional lazy bum and I'm working on getting a phd in procrastination. I know how it is, and it especially doesn't help for when I experience these mood swings. Start a new project when I'm feeling great, completely abandon it when I'm low. That's the story. I never really finish what creative thing I start either, just sort of add on little by little. Usually it's music, and I've been working on the same songs for years now lol. Hopefully you will get around to finishing those clothing projects of yours too! A commissioning shop might be good for you, doesn't seem like it can be too overwhelming and you might be able to focus better on a single project at a time.

Oh my that looks yummy! I've used squash vegetables many times as a pasta replacement. It's simple, yet very creative and most times delicious! Also saves you lots on calories and such. Did you save me some? ;) LOL that's so funny that you were able to make tofu like that! Doesn't it have to ferment? I've thought about making my own tofu but the whole fermentation process kind of steered me away. Like, I guess the fear of messing something up after waiting for such a long time for nothing. Plus, tofu was incredibly inexpensive at my store usually, about $.99 a pack when it was on special. Omg you found the mall! :D yeah it's pretty cool seeing there, although I'm not even sure if it's still around! Well it might be. There was a mall around this city that was shut down or something, but I can't remember if it was Monroeville or another. Businesses here have been around forever (haha here we are talking about businesses again!).

It would make sense for some of these businesses to be closed on Sunday, I guess depending on what the business is. I guess it also depends on the location. Where I used to live before moving to the city, most businesses at the most would just close a bit earlier on Sunday but still remain open. Seems to be a different story the more populated an area might be, and again, the kinds of places that around that area. I think smaller and family businesses are the ones to close on Sundays. There's a real famous record shop that I frequent that's actually closed early on Sundays and closed entirely on Mondays! But Yeah, I guess it depends on location and type of business.

Ohh I hadn't realized that you listened to Amanda Palmer so much! I love her, she was like one of my favorites since back when I was a younger teen. I want to buy her vinyl but they're sooo expensive these days! Boo. :( ohh Dresden Dolls too <333 have you listened to Neko Case often? I feel you might like her. She came out with "The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You" last year and is still one of my favorites in recent memory. Soo good! And Hooray for turning your shoutbox into a novel.

I guess clothing the dead can be a bit... Well strange. For someone who doesn't hang around dead bodies often. Maybe a mannequin would be better then. I love scarves! I girl who I worked with knitted me this pretty green scarf that keeps me pretty warm. It doesn't have to be warm though. I can't remember if asked so sorry if I did, but have you considered making an Etsy or something to sell some of your stuff? Painted jars included. I'm sure it would be a great way to get your name out there and make some money along the way. I'd buy from you even if shipping might be high.

It's nice that those foods so easily absorb the flavor of whatever else you may add to it. Like a flavor sponge! One of my personal favs were these enchiladas that I made with sprouted grain wrapped tortillas, black beans, homemade "cheese" and bits of tempeh and some other stuff. If I find the recipe I will definitely share it with you. Our zombie movie was none other than Dawn of the Dead! The one from the 70's though, not the most recent version. The Dark Knight Rises were shot in parts of my city too. I think It's pretty cool to watch a movie and go "hey I've been there before." Crime and goths seem like an interesting combination though, I wonder how the two are tied together? I don't speak German but that's ok, the visuals would still be nice. Maybe there's a version with subtitles somewhere? WOW that's fascinating, yeah, once the bodies are buried they usually stay under!

Shops not being open on holidays or Sundays are pretty common for us too. The coffee shop I work at is like the only exception, and it can be a bit silly considering we are normally open til nearly midnight anyways! But the business is alive at those hours, so meh. Your sister knows how busy it can be, people like to stop in for those last minute gifts and things to bring home for their family. A single Lady came in before we closed and ordered 4 lattes and 4 hot chocolates. Aghhhh! I'm happy that you were able to enjoy the sauce and that it turned out ok! I wonder if this is a recipe of your own, or if you had found it somewhere? I'm especially curious about the vegan bolognese. I had never delved too deeply into the premade, prepared vegan faux meats found at super markets mostly because they were so overly processed but I've made a few homemade dishes using such alternatives like wheat gluten to use for seitan and of course, various tofu dishes.

Interesting, we had a well known zombie movie shot at a mall in my city. If your cemetery movie was about Zombies, too, then I would have to check it out! Haha the cemetery I go to is about as dead as it's patrons so I never have to worry about interrupting funeral processions, or anything like that. It would be awkward to stand as a stranger amongst a family as their loved one is lowered into the ground. Would be kind of funny, actually. "Would you like to say a few words on behalf of the deceased?" "...um. Sorry have to go, my ride is here, bye!" Maybe you can work as a funeral director. Not like such a thing would go out of business. Or perhaps sew for the dead! You can practice and not worry too much about dissatisfied clients. Ohhh so you have to show me your latest sewing project then! Take those pictures!! It'll be nice too because I'm actually looking for a new coat, or something heavy-ish and warm. And many other articles of clothing. Looking for inspiration.

Nooo I'm afraid I was working on thanksgiving so I never got around to the pie!! It's ok though, I pretty much got home and was too exhausted to cook anything.. I work at a local coffee shop and was surprised by how busy we were, I had just assumed that everybody had a life and was going to spend time at home with their families rather than get coffee and such haha! At least we closed 8 hours early than normal so it wasn't too terrible. Homemade pasta sauce sounds wonderful, yes. Was there a food you made it for, or did you just end up eating it by itself? We made these cheese-stuffed pasta shells that were pretty good, although our sauce wasn't homemade. But it's food so I'm not complaining.

Right. Or i'll often try to type a message and end up erasing everything and not bothering with it. Those days are lousy. Today is better, just feverish. How fun. Anyways, yeah, that whole camera business can get super expensive and really, a phone camera or something can work out nicely too, it's all about perspective. Lighting can be important too. ;) Oh no, I certainly don't feel weird about hanging out at graveyards nor do I care if anyone thinks i'm weird for it! They truly are a place of peace and tranquility, but I understand that they're not for everybody. Same goes for many other things too. Hmm... Is there a website or some service that tells you about some new job offerings around your area? I'm sure there's something out there that you might like! ...Or at least tolerate. Maybe.

must've had a sad episode some days ago and forgot about replying to your shout. Anyways, a DSLR is essentially a digital camera with the ability to change it's lens. It's especially useful in that it's versatile, like if you want to do macro shots of bugs and such and then landscapes later on, or if your subject happens to be very far away. A designated lens for each task is optimal, but can be very expensive. I sold my set because I lost that passion as I did with other hobbies. Oh that's definitely good that you are taking any kind of supplement! The nutrition yeast was just more enjoyable than having to take a supplement pill all the time. You absolutely should go to the cemetery alone then! Nothing kills the mood more than going with others who aren't very interested. The one I go to has been around since the mid 1800's and is still growing. Hopefully you'll get the chance to make that train trip and take many photos, would love to see it!

That sounds like a plan, especially if you can make a cake that really wows your family! I've actually done it before, with a lasagna of all things. See if you can find a nutritional yeast at a grocery store. They are these little yellow flakes that are loaded with many of the B vitamins, including B12, and you can sprinkle on food. It even has a delicious cheesy taste too. Much more fun than supplement pills in my opinion. Ohh I love graveyards especially! A friend of mine recently introduced me to this graveyard that is almost big enough to be it's own little borough. They're definitely fun to explore, although I sold my DSLR before I could try taking creative photos. I love it, so peaceful and so much history.

It's nice to know you're still doing the vegan thing and hope it's treating you well. When it comes to to taking photos, good lighting and creative perspective will do you wonders. Not every recipe I tried turned out how I had imagined, it certainly takes some practice and patience. And like you, I'm completely self-taught so anyone can do it! I'd love to see some more of your own creative techniques in your own photography though (Ive seen some of those avatar changes and some few photos and think you're very good at it).

Well how fun! Certainly nice to have something to help keep track of your work and be able to look back on for motivation! I sort of do the same with my own music. But living life without buying anything? That would be most helpful yess! Well I try to do that too... Challenge myself is more like it. Hehe I made the food and then photographed shortly before indulging. I haven't had much motivation to try out any recipes as of recent but just most of those came from base recipes found on vegweb.com and then fancied to my liking. You're still doing vegan/vegetarian yes? That website would surely come in handy for you as it did for me. I wonder what else your photography covers besides food! ...and fashion.
